Our stay was incredible! This is definitely the house to stay at if you are visiting Monteverde. This little house fit our family of 4 perfectly, although we spent most of our time sitting on the balcony enjoying the views. The house is located perfectly to give you some peace while still being only a 15 minute drive from the city. Albita was very responsive to all my questions and was able to give us recommendations on what to do in Monteverde. Make sure to use the address Albita sends you so you can find the house! If you stay here, you absolutely must go to Lluvias de Gloria cafe! This was recommended to us by Albita and it is a family-owned farm only 10 min from the house. They gave us a tour of the entire farm with coffee and fruit tastings. We also went back to eat there several times at their cafe. This was the best thing we did on our entire Costa Rica trip!!

We had a great time, everything was perfect.We loved the pool and the casita was perfect for my 25 years old daughter. The view was incredible. There was construction near by but it wasn’t loud. It didn’t affect our vacation. I loved the kitchen, it was really well equipped! We highly recommend La Caza de Paz and we would come back for sure!

The pictures of this place don’t do it justice, the views are spectacular! This property is perched on a mountain with great outdoor space to sit, and with a restaurant in walking distance that offers good food, cocktails and a really nice staff. We pretty much ate breakfast and dinner there almost every day. There’s also another restaurant at the bottom of the hill, along with a general store for snacks, beer, etc. It’s conveniently located near zip lining, hanging bridges and the Arenal National Park. If you want to add some time by the pool, you can buy day passes at The Springs Resort & Spa. We hiked and did jungle excursions in the mornings and hung out by the hot springs and pools in the afternoons. The only thing that I would have changed is that I would have liked to stay longer.

We had such an amazing time at the Zarcero Zen Mountain Lodge. The house is spacious, well equipped and there is a lot to do in the area. Nova is an excellent host who took great care of us. We hope to go back sometime soon.

The location was perfect for our Monteverde adventure. Easily accessed everything we wanted to do from zip-line to a night hike to a 6-mile self-guided hike in Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. We also drove to Viento Fresco Waterfalls about 50 minutes away and the swim in waterfall #3 was a family favorite for the trip. Lots to do, very peaceful surroundings at the house and easy to get to good food in Santa Elena! Simple and perfectly comfortable accommodations and the host was wonderful and helpful.

We just had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful tree house in the clouds. It truly felt like a hidden gem tucked away in nature. The weather surprised us with rain, and everything was damp at first—but once we embraced it, even that became part of the magic. The misty forest, the sound of raindrops on the roof—it all added to the peaceful, cozy atmosphere. The woodfires were such a perfect touch and made the space feel warm and inviting. Jessy was amazing—so kind, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. You can tell a lot of care went into creating this experience. It was a truly special escape, and we would love to come back.

Ein sehr schönes Haus mit allem ausgestattet. Der schöne, gut abgetrennte Garten ist toll, viele Vögel zu beobachten, auch Eichhörnchen. Es ist schön ruhig und die Nachbarn sind nett.

Cindy’s condo is the perfect retreat for a family, or for a group. It is incredibly spacious, with more room than the pictures can show. The view of San Jose was gorgeous day and night. The pool was public to the condo, and was heated. The drive Into San Jose was a touch longer than expected, but that was no biggie due to all of the other amenities. Lots of balcony space, on multiple levels have great indoor/outdoor experiences. Definitely would stay again.

Es tal cual las fotos. Muy acogedor y una vista espectacular. Lo único que quizás le añadiría sería un TV para conectar el Netflix o similares. Ya que de noche, no hay mucho alrededor para divertirse. El lugar impecable y muy lindo. Volvería 10 veces más y seguro que lo haré. La cama principal es una delicia.

Probably the best AirBNB I’ve been in. Good gym + awesome swimming lanes (25m). Great views. More amenities than most people have at their homes. Great all around. Make sure to go on some of their trips - they are great.

This home is beautiful and the location on the beach is amazing. There was a learning curve to get the air conditioning working properly which was likely user error on our part. Bring a soft cooler to carry cold beverages down to the beach so you dont need to run up and down the stairs.. Despite the minor criticisms above i would highly recommend this place. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Verde, and it was an unforgettable experience. The property itself is a serene oasis, providing a peaceful retreat from the bustling city life. Its proximity to upscale shops, diverse restaurants, and entertainment venues like Avenida Escazú and Multiplaza Escazú makes it an ideal location for both relaxation and exploration. Inside, Casa Verde is tastefully decorated, exuding a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The accommodations are comfortable and well-appointed, ensuring a restful stay. The highlight for me was the beautiful Terrace , perfect for enjoying Costa Rica’s pleasant climate. The host was exceptionally attentive and responsive, providing valuable local recommendations and ensuring that all our needs were met promptly. It was truly a wonderful experience!!!

Sergio has a fantastic place that is perfect for our extended family. The house is quirky and a challenge to navigate—there are a lot of steps everywhere. However, every room is a gem, and everything works. Sergio was an ideal host - such a difference from company-places with remote staff that don't care a damn. We all had an amazing time. We hope to be back soon!

I’ll start with what you need to know. Yes, the airBNB is on private 4 acre lot. Yes the room was as clean and well designed as the pictures depicted. Yes there is lots of parking on the property. Yes the kitchen is fully stocked with pots, utensils, plates, cups and extras like sugar, cooking oil and coffee. Yes there is a laundry room with a washer and dryer. Yes this property is in mountains, but Uber can take you anywhere for cheap. My family and I were lucky enough to book this place for almost 6months. Erika was very attentive and kind to us our entire stay. Sure this is her business, but every exchange felt genuine. My boys absolutely loved being here with so much room to play and run around. Weekly, Ilse and KB switched our linens, gived us fresh towels, cleaned the entire bathroom and swept our floors. Mr. Orlando and Guillermo worked swiftly to address all grounds related issues. This team of four worked really well together to ensure our comfort. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We really enjoyed our stay. Having access to the beach club was a big bonus. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, paricularily Mario, Maria and Freddy.

I rented this place for my niece birthday, it was a dream come true. The villa is beautiful, the rooms are well decorated and you have anything you need. Daniela is the best host in the world. Flexible, helpful, quick to respond. She made our trip perfect. I 100% recommend this place and Daniela!

A Truly Exceptional Stay at Villa Serafina! From the moment we arrived at Villa Serafina, we were in awe of the stunning surroundings and the incredible hospitality. The villa itself is a true gem — beautifully designed with every detail thoughtfully curated to provide maximum comfort and style. The spacious rooms, the peaceful atmosphere, and the breathtaking views made our stay unforgettable.

If you want peaceful and remote, this is the place for you! We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful, relaxing time. Giselle’s place was less than 5 min from Playa Coco, which was the best beach in the area (we didn’t surf but seemed like everyone that did also went there). There are not a ton of restaurants in the area, but as it’s easy to cook in the full kitchen and enjoy the beautiful views from the Airbnb, I’d recommend bringing your own groceries, striking up a fire and settling in. Watched the birds come in every morning from bed!

Remarkable, immaculately designed and kept luxury villa. A little bit off the beaten path. Nearest airport being Liberia (LIR), 2 hrs away and you’ll need a 4x4 to get there. Having said that, this place is absolutely a hidden gem you won’t want to leave in a hurry. Note: it is a remarkably large property and we could easily have fit another family of 5 (alongside us) and not seen each other for days. Hosts were always responsive and communicative and made our stay memorable and easy.
