Mickey's place was the perfect getaway for our anniversary. It was secluded, had an awesome lakeview, and had the most gracious hosts who have been married for 39 years! I am a public school teacher who teaches children with exceptional needs. I have been trying to get to the beach since Spring Break. My husband said, "Since you like to fish, have you looked for lakes?" So, I looked and found Mickey's spot. It was perfect! Two days before check-in, I fell at work and fractured my foot and possibly my knee. I bought vacation insurance and could have cancelled because it has stairs to the unit, but I was really looking forward to going. Mr. Mickey and his wife, Mrs. Ann, were very accommodating. They used their utility vehicle to take me down the path to the lake for a boat ride and to fish. Mr. Mickey even let me reel in a fish that was on his line so everyone caught a fish! I went back on the dock the next morning and caught one on my on line!😊 We look forward to our next trip back!

This location was great for us - close to town and a dock to tie our boat off to. The layout of the RV was perfect for our 4 kids. Joe was responsive and easy to communicate with. He was also very understanding when we had an incident that we needed to make right.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! It was the perfect place for our anniversary weekend getaway and also for celebrating my nephew’s 3rd birthday. The house was easy to find and access, and the host went above and beyond by putting up a few birthday decorations and even leaving a sweet little gift for the birthday boy—such a thoughtful touch! The home was very clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything you could need for a short or long stay. It has two spacious bedrooms with easy access to the living room, bathroom, and kitchen. The views of the lake were absolutely beautiful, and we really enjoyed having access to the dock—it was great for swimming, fishing, and just relaxing by the water. The host was very helpful, provided clear instructions, and gave us great recommendations for local dining and activities. Communication was quick and friendly. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again when we’re back in the area!

This was our 2nd year taking our guys trip to the house. There’s 12 of us, and this house has plenty of room. The house is perfect for a fishing trip. The crappie fishing is phenomenal in bluestone creek and we caught enough to feed us all and bring some back to Maryland. The

We were extremely pleased with the house. It was exceptionally clean and well maintained! House offers several amenities that were fantastic. The beds were very comfortable. The host was VERY responsive!! Overall it was perfect for our needs and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!

Very nice house, great veranda with a BBQ and a view to the lake. Check-in and check-out were very easy!

This was our 5th year staying here. Very satisfied as usual. Great place to stay. Great host. Never an issue. Already planning next year. Maybe a fall trip this year.
