Located between the Quantock Hills (AONB), Exmoor and the dramatic West Somerset coastline, this quirky property offers a unique base from which to relax or explore. Relax in the hot tub spa after a busy day or share a drink on the tree deck built into a 400 year old Oak tree. Cook in a fully equipped kitchen or enjoy the rain whilst sat in a rocking chair. Snooze in a hammock and then relax in front of a film before heading to a comfy king size bed.

Only 5 minutes from the West Somerset Steam Railway, Halse Water sits in a picturesque garden with its very own babbling brook. King size bed with ensuite bathroom. Kitchen/diner/sitting room has a sofa bed if required, noting access to bathroom is through the bedroom. Enjoy numerous public footpaths surrounding Halse Water and great places to visit including the famous Dunster Castle.

Otters Holt: Dog friendly loft in converted barn

Unwind in the beautiful Somerset countryside. Set within a wing of this historic medieval stone Manor House, Otters Holt at Chipley Escapes is on the first floor and accessed via its own private entrance and staircase. The two bedroom apartment is furnished to a high standard and includes log burner, Smart TV and a well equipped kitchen comprising oven and grill, induction hob and fridge. The dining table converts to a workstation and the contemporary bathroom has a large walk-in shower.

Country House on a Farm

Converted barn in 100 acres of land. A home from home crammed with books, games and toys. Easily accommodates at least 10 people comfortably. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.

The Old Potting Shed, Staplegrove, Taunton

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space in the beautiful picturesque village of Staplegrove. Nestled on the edge of the Quantock Hills, The Old Potting Shed is a self contained holiday let enjoying views of the surrounding gardens with pretty shrubs and our own pet chickens wandering around. There is a small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities (please remember to bring your own milk). A wonderful array of pubs are just on the doorstep as well as a village shop (co-op).

It is next door to a Domesday church, and the local pub is a five minute walk away. The property is about 1 mile from the Pontispool equine sports centre and 5 miles from Bishops Lydeard Station on the West Somerset Railway. Oake Manor golf club is about 1 mile away and Junction 26 of the M5 is roughly 3 miles.
