At first it seems like the middle of know where but you soon realize it is the middle of the most relaxing place you have ever been. There are so many things to see from Sun stone's to Petroglyphs to the Shirk Ranch, Sitting on the Deck at night watching the Stars. Plush is one of the Darkest places in the west, very little light pollution here. The list is endless.

Elk Ridge Cabin in the pines

Secluded off-grid cabin in the forest where you can unplug from life's busyness. Our custom crafted cabin features hardwood flooring, blue pine paneling, a queen bed in upstairs loft, wood stove, propane heater, window mount air cooler, ceiling fan. Solar powered with backup generator, propane oven/stove, fridge & water heater. BBQ, no microwave. TV with supply of videos, a front deck, hammock, picnic area, green lawn and yard games. Cell phone service. Best suitable for 2 adults and kids.

High Desert Hideaway

Pets allowed inside if potty trained. Just a 5.3 miles from town. It is on the south side of Highway 20 east of Burns, you must go past Red Barn Road. There is red reflectors to help find the driveway at night. It’s a on a pivot that with permission and caution about buildings, pivot, equipment and the highway you may shoot ground squirrels and jack rabbits! There is a corral for horses and a kennel for dogs. It is centrally located for horse activities like cuttings, brandings.

The Hanley House

The Hanley House is a home we worked hard to make comfortable and feel like coming home. With its bright natural light and neutral tones you’ll feel right at home upon arrival. With everything new you won’t need to worry about low water pressure or squeaky floors. With all new beds and high quality linens, you’re sure to have a great night sleep. Netflix and Disney+ are available on demand and good WiFi will keep you connected. We made this old “mill house” feel like new again!

The Cawlfield House (Circa 1929)

The historic Cawlfield House was built by my grandfather in 1929. It has been beautifully restored with modern amenities and comforts. It has an updated Kitchen, Living, Dining, Bath, Office & two Bedrooms (1 plush queen bed down, 1 plush queen bed up & 1 trundle bed). Many of the furnishings came from Joanna Gaines collections. We've sincerely strived to consider your needs, including A/C. We'd love to host you! We are confident you'll enjoy the homes comforts and history!

Sandhill Suite

The Sandhill Suite is a newly remodeled home conveniently located five miles east of Burns just off highway 20. This cozy two bedroom home was remodeled in early 2023 and has lots of amenities to offer. Its a great option for extended stays or a quick weekend getaway and sleeps up to four people. Pets are welcome and will be safely contained in the fully fenced yard. Come enjoy Harney County beauty and experience the Sandhill Suite!

The Retreat-Sleeps 8 in 4 rooms

New! The Retreat offers 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, and art studio! Bright sunroom, deck, fenced backyard, and a cozy fireplace. A perfect place to come be creative in our artist studio- a separate studio off the patio where you can paint, write, work, read, or just relax to your hearts content. The house and studio have AC/heat to keep you comfortable. Located across from the golf course. Two bedrooms and a full bath on each floor.

The outpost

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Remote cabin in the eastern Oregon outback. Located on a functioning cattle ranch in a stunning setting of aspens and juniper/sage range land. Wildlife viewing, and only one mile from US forest service boundary. Warm cozy cabin is fully furnished and stocked with all household supplies, fire wood, and gas heat. TV & WIFI Best star gazing EVER. Telescope provided!

Baby Bear’s Playhouse

Baby Bear's Playhouse is conveniently located across the street from the grocery store, 3 blocks from downtown restaurants & shopping, and an easy 2-minute drive to the hospital. This tiny house/studio offers a large yard for your pet and kiddos to play, plenty of off-street parking and a shared picnic area complete with BBQ and firepit.
