Relax with the family at this completely updated cottage built in the 1940s. Featuring two bedrooms with plenty of comfy relaxing area. Enjoy the backyard with a hot tub (inflatable), and night lighting. Grill on the charcoal or relax at the fire pit. Just in earshot of the apple orchard where you can satisfy your taste buds with a crisp fresh apple, apple cider slushy, or fried apple pie. Although rural this home is only 4 miles from interstate 40! Approx an hour from Asheville and Charlotte.

There are great parks & lakes to explore. (Boat launch is 4 miles away). Check out a local winery/brewery. The Blue Ridge parkway is a short drive & absolutely breathtaking.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Secluded home yet close to town. Nestled in a quiet cove right off the main channel on Lake Hickory. It has a heated indoor pool so even in the winter time you can enjoy the water with view of the lake. There is a dock as well. So if you happen to want to enjoy the lake, you can. The house has its own boat ramp so if you want to bring your own boat you can. If not there are places to rent them from. Hope you come and enjoy our piece of paradise.

Cozy Cabin w/ Hot Tub - World’s Inn

Come escape to this cozy 3/2 cabin, close to Morganton, Lake James, several breweries and wineries, Hidden Hills wedding venue and all the hiking and other outdoor activities in the state park the property backs up against. The house boasts every modern comfort you would need to work or play if you don’t want to unplug, but this house was meant to be enjoyed outdoors. The hot tub, wrap around porch, and fire-pit offer the perfect setting to enjoy the tranquility this house provides.

MENZIES LOUNGE

We live in historic downtown Hickory. You will have your own private space located in the back of our home. It is a studio with a kitchenette. No stove/oven and only a beverage fridge. Adjoining your studio is an un air conditioned game room with pool table/ping pong and workout equipment. We have an outdoor shared space with a grill and fireplace. We also have a super cute golden doodle named Louis, who might be inside the fenced area. Please keep all fence gates locked.

Lakefront Serenity

Our comfortable one bedroom apartment is centrally located near downtown Hickory, yet sits quietly on the main channel of Lake Hickory. Enjoy fishing, swimming, or relaxing from the dock. You are welcome to bring your own boat/jet ski and secure it to our dock. Relax and enjoy watching wildlife from your private deck. Hickory’s new River Walk (which winds through the woods)is directly across the lake. Charlotte, Asheville, and Boone are within one hour of the property.
