Enjoy a visit to our summer home in Oak Park. It's a 1 mile drive through our historic neighborhood to downtown Ferndale. A 2 bed 1 bath built in 1930 was fully remodeled in 2020, including the addition of AC. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do when we come home to work remotely near family twice yearly. Enjoy the fully stocked kitchen; we love to cook! But make sure to take advantage of all the bars and restaurants in Ferndale. If traveling with the pup, there's a large fenced-in yard.

We have a large yard with a patio near the carriage house, covered porch, grill, bbq pit, bocce court, and outdoor living room (summer). We have a dog that has yard access. Private, secured parking is available for 1 car. Families are welcome, as are pets. We recommend families 3+ contact us before booking to ensure the space will work for you.

We are centrally located to most everything in the metro Detroit area. You will have the entire home to yourself with access to the entire first floor. The house is very cozy and set up for a relaxing stay. The kitchen has most everything you need. (Utensils, coffee maker, French press, grinder, tea kettle, tea, condiments, microwave, a toaster oven...) And towels and soap are provided as well. We welcome you to our vintage charmer.

Heather’s house is the perfect place for your family vacation, girls trip or a peaceful getaway. Heather’s house is a cozy 100 year old home that sleeps up to 8 people, comes with a full equipped kitchen, a backyard with a fire pit, an air hockey and foosball table for all the fun. Located within walking distance to fabulous Ferndale’s downtown. Full of great restaurants and cute shops waiting to be explored.
