Our modern, well-equipped home sits right by the sea with breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by pristine Arctic nature. Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Her kan du nyte gode sommerdager med utsikt til Kvaløya og Senja. Håja med midnattsol i nord. 120 m til nydelig sandstrand og bademuligheter. Våren kommer tidlig på kysten. Midnattsol fra 18.05. til 26.07. Hytta har fantastisk utsikt mot nord og midnattsola. Bilvei helt fram og parkering ved hytta. Om vinteren er det førsteklasses muligheter for å se nordlys. Det servant med v/k vann på alle soverom. Det er et eget toalett i soveromsfløyen. Sengetøy og håndklær er inkludert i leieprisen.

That's why we offer you free rental of bicycles, snowshoes, canoes, firewood, barbecues and kayak for those with experience. The apartment is on the first floor and has large windows. It is in the nature surrounded by the ocean, white coral beaches, islets and reefs, you can see this trough the apartment windows. Park right outsidee and indside you really have everything you might need.

Spectacular new build house (2018) in a lovely, quiet area with a beautiful view to the fjord/sea, mountains and forest in Kvaløya /Tromsø. Dette er vårt eget hjem på Sommarøya, som vi leier ut i korte perioder. Huset er lyst og praktisk, med to soverom, to bad, fiberinternett og gode uteområder. Beliggenheten er rolig og naturnær, med kort vei til strender, butikk og flotte turmuligheter. Perfekt for gjester som ønsker å bo som lokalbefolkningen og oppleve Sommarøya på en autentisk måte. We are the proud owners of this very special cabin located right at the seafront. Modern fully equipped kitchen and stylish living room with panoramic views through the large windows facing the sea. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you will need and the bathroom is spacious with water closet and large shower. Washing machine/tumbling dryer and dishwasher is also available and can be used freely.

Helt ny hytte på Sommarøy! Det perfekte sted for å se nordlys på vinteren, og strand og fjell på sommeren. Hytten ligger rett ved Sommarøy Arctic Hotell som tilbyr jacuzzi, sauna og restaurant. To stuer og to bad. Hytten er veldig tiltalende, og meget høy standard. Praktfull utsikt, to veranda med havet som nærmeste nabo. 50 meter fra strand. Soverom med dyne, pute og sengklær. Alle bad med håndklær.
