Excellent food choices, and great walking trail. From there you can catch the Metro-North railroad to the city. My place is fairly close to New York city about 30 miles away. A quiet neighborhood. Our yard has wooded trees and garden. A nice deck to sit out on if you want. A great location and ideal toran for cycling. Close to Wegmans grocery store and many surrounding restaurants. We are about a half hour away to Woodbury commons premium outlets. Lyndhurst mansion not to far away, over in Tarrytown.
