The house was built in 2005 but the first floor was partially renovated in October 2024. There is an outside deck that has panoramic ocean views. Bedding is one queen, one double and two single beds. There is also a futon mattress if needed (not super comfy). The house is in a residential area so refrain from making loud noise especially after dark. Being surrounded by nature near the ocean, you may occasionally encounter seasonal insects outdoors, particularly around lights at night.

The owner is particular about his handcrafted furniture and the Irori (a traditional Japanese sunken hearth) in living room. 160年の古民家を2023年にリノベーションしました。総敷地700坪（2300㎡）、建物170㎡ととても広々としています。熊本城まで車で8分の距離にありながら、喧騒から離れて落ち着いてゆっくりくつろいでいただけるコテージです。お庭には、160年以上前からある大きなクスノキや、黒松、紅葉、竹林など木々やお花にあふれていて、四季折々の木々や草花を堪能していただけます。ホストが隣接する建物に住んでおりますので、何かと安心してお過ごしいただけます。大きく深呼吸をして、心からリフレッシュしてください。 ●ご留意点 ・木々が生い茂る庭があるため、蚊や虫が多くいます。虫はどうしても苦手という方はお楽しみいただくことが難しいかもしれません。 ・当施設は、とても静かな住宅地にあります。20時以降、お庭やデッキでの大きな声での会話はお控えください。
