We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin in the woods, the perfect peaceful retreat from city life. The hot tub was such a treat in the evenings. We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit too, and it was great that firewood was provided. The cabin was clean and cozy, and the hosts were very responsive and helpful. Two small things to note: the two doors facing the bed don’t have curtains, so it gets quite bright in the morning and feels a bit exposed, I found it a little uncomfortable. Also, the path leading up to the cabin was very muddy, so make sure you wear the right shoes. Overall, I would stay again, it was a great getaway, and we left feeling refreshed.

Reef point cottages were adorable and a great little romantic getaway. We loved our private hottub on our porch and the setup. Situated walking distance to town, this was a great spot and we’d definitely come back!

What a fantastic place! From the view to the hot tub to the really great and well stocked space, we had an amazing stay here with everything that we needed. Even some toys for my toddler! This is a real gem and my only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. I could spend days sitting in the sun room or on the deck watching the wildlife and the view. We will definitely be back! Our stay at Ravenwood Guest House was nothing short of wonderful! Deb and Hugh greeted us on arrival and gave us a tour, explaining the layout of the house and how the hot tub operates. The guest house is the best equipped home away from home we have encountered! From morning coffee to children’s bath toys, everything is here! The premises is clean and perfectly maintained, and is a short walk to beautiful Westwood Lake, a treasured Nanaimo attraction. Overall, a wonderful stay. We look forward to our next visit!

Beautiful guest home with a cabin vibe and modern washroom. Amazing panoramic view and indoor fireplace. You wont find a hot tub with a better view. Would definitely stay again.

Great location in beautiful Cowichan valley with access to great hiking (Cowichan bay estuary and Stony Hill were two favourites). Our house was in a quiet location with comfortable bed and furnishings and a private hot tub for an end of day soak. An excellent stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the little house - superb location, amazing host, thoughtful touches to the home and great communication. Pender is magical, and the stay made it perfect.

This was the perfect spot for a solo getaway but would suit a couple or small family well. Lots of nice touches and beauty in all directions. I loved the outdoor bathtub and comfortable couch and bed. I hope to return some day!

The house is very nice. The area is beautiful and very quiet and peaceful. The attached spa room with the bath/shower/fire pit was amazing! It is very relaxing place to stay. Matt was a great host and communicated well throughout the stay. I would definitely book this place again!

We had a wonderful stay at Louise’s cottage! The location is great, close to St Mary’s lake and a quick drive to Ganges. Louise was an excellent host and easy to communicate with. The cottage was peaceful, quiet and has lovely views. Great getaway on Saltspring Island.

It was perfect. The description was bang on. The cabin was full of character and rustic charm. You could feel the good energy in this place surrounded by peace and quiet. Nosy sea lion swam by several times a day.

We loved our time at the cottage it was clean secluded and surrounded by forest . Everything is easy to find they have a great little disc golf course at the community centre just up the road . Close to everything. If we ever come back to Quadra Island we would come and stay at Big tree cottage again.

Mark and his property were both amazing. The cottage itself was nestled away but still close to everything you would need. Mark was responsive and easy to communicate with during the entire stay. Will most definitely be back!

This was by far one of our best Airbnb experiences to date. Leslie was an incredible host; very welcoming and kind, very quick to respond, and very flexible with check-in and check-out. Both the property and cottage are very well maintained, and the cottage has everything you need for a weekend getaway. Leslie even left us a can of coffee beans from her roastery and was kind enough to seal the leftovers for us to bring home. Would absolutely recommend this Airbnb stay to anyone looking for a cozy getaway. Thank you, Leslie - we can’t wait to come back!

Gail’s cottage was an incredibly warm and welcoming place to stay. She is thoughtful about every part of the cottage with lovely decor, comfortable bedding, and a very clean space. The incredible beach was just a short walk away. She was so friendly and responsive to all my questions, I can’t wait to come back!

Located in a quiet community just outside of town, this cottage is the ultimate peaceful retreat. It has a phenomenal ocean front view with breathtaking sunrises. The hosts provided me with privacy, but were also great communicators and let me know of a pod of orcas that were within view. It was the perfect place to find rest and and take time to recharge.

We were visiting the island to spend time with our son over the family day long weekend and had a wonderful stay. Such a cozy little cottage surrounded by natural beauty. Very well stocked kitchen and we immediately felt right at home. Lindsay

Enjoy the peace and tranquility this place has to offer. It was so relaxing to stare out at the wonderful bay and see otters play outside on the docks. I will always remember this place and will 100% come back to it. The host is wonderful and responsive and checked in on me various times to make sure we were enjoying our visit. I wish more hosts were like this! Cannot recommend this place any higher!

The cabin of your childhood dreams…sit back, relax, enjoy the lake and connect with family/friends. North Lake has fabulous swimming and almost no bugs. The cabin has a lovely view and lots of different areas to sleep. Lynne was a great host, very attentive and communicative. We had a lovely time, thanks Lynne.
