Halfmoon bay is a beautiful area, and this lovely family home has lots to offer. We enjoyed our stay and had lots of fun. We enjoyed our walks to the beach during the day and playing board games at nights. Highly recommended.

Firstly, Bowen Island is one of the most idyllic places I have visited. It only felt right to enjoy a stay in a cute garden cabin. It was exactly as described. Catherine was super helpful and the cabin was cute. The shared bathroom in the main home is clean with hand towels etc provided. The cabin is a short walk (15 mins) to Snug Cove, so if you are having a drink in the local pub you can wander back. Highly recommend!

James was a great host! Their location is walking distance from loads of trails and the coast. We visited on a rainy weekend and found the space to be super cozy to hang out and play games and music (we enjoyed the novelty of the records and playing the accordion and guitar). When the rain cleared we went for a beautiful long hike just outside their door. They were super warm and welcoming hosts and we loved getting to chat when we crossed paths but still felt a sense of total privacy in the suite. Would absolutely recommend the suite for anyone making a trip out to the sunshine coast. It was perfect for a winter getaway and I imagine even better in the summer with loads to do.

I had an amazing stay. Was only a few steps from the beautiful very quiet beach. Julie and her husband were lovely and very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be returning:)

Perfect airbnb for our 4 day getaway to the city! Within waking range of the bus stop and super clean and organized! I got instant responses to any questions I had and she was so prepared for anything I needed. She even had some fresh pastries and some baking/cooking essentials in our fridge waiting for us when we arrived in the late evening! Overall it was a fantastic stay and I already know where I’ll be staying next time I’m in the city!

We stayed at Jamil's place whilst visiting our Son at SFU up the road. it was a brilliant location to get to the Uni and also take the sky train into Downton Vancouver. The apartment was really clean and comfort and really well equipped. Jamil was an excellent host and responded quickly when needed. i'd highly be recommend the place especially if visiting Burnaby or SFU

We had such a wonderful time on the sunny coast. Chantal and Alex went above and beyond to truly host us. We had so many thoughtful discoveries within the stay that we took note of. No spoilers; go and stay and experience for yourself! We really felt so comfortable and had every possible accommodation already thought of. Any questions we did have were entertained extensively. We even forgot an item and our hosts expedited finding it and getting it mailed to us! The location is quiet and the place is really private. We had everything we needed for a casual night in; lounging space and dining amenities, as well as entertainment galore! We also were close to trails and beaches as well as a nice central location for exploring. Ten outta ten would recommend staying here and we totally will again one day if we’re lucky enough to! great overall. john was very friendly and caring. he came and helped us right way when Netflix did not work and then stayed and chatted with us. we had everything we needed. Just one thing for me would be a softer mattress or topper. great location and private. we enjoyed our stay.

The Island Forest Retreat was so lovely. It was cozy and comfortable, in the trees-peaceful and so quiet. It had everything we needed for our stay and was a quick drive into Snug Harbour. The hosts stocked the kitchen with some breakfast supplies, which was so kind and Jennifer's warm treats in the morning were so good. I would totally recommend this place and would love to stay again.

Janice and Bill's place, the Hi N Dri, was absolutely gorgeous and cozy. It was so thoughtfully stocked and beautifully decorated, with attention to every detail. Everything was immaculate. We had a wonderfully relaxing family getaway there, visiting the local beach every evening to watch the sunset. Janice and Bill were responsive and attentive, even putting our wet beach shoes onto a drying shelf for us while we were out!

This place was exactly as described. The kitchen is fantastic, the hottub was ready to go, and the bbq cooks nicely! It's a 2 min walk to the beach, though someone with mobility issues might have a bit of a hard time. The bed is super comfy and firm. Highly recommended!

This place is cozy and warm! The unit is as described and clean and the host is responsive and friendly. Our dog had a lot of fun with the tenant’s dog living downstairs ☺️ Just need to keep in mind that hair dryer is not provided (but you’ll be welcomed to bring your own) and there are people living downstairs so you do hear some subtle sounds and smell food occasionally(rarely). But it wasn’t a big problem for us, everyone was very nice and it’s definitely a great place for a small family to visit! (Lots of rooms and spaces)

Lovely, cute and quiet place to stay. The well thought out details inside the cabin make it extra cozy. Kirsten thought of everything you could possibly need:) She was also very friendly and kind! Would definitely come back again.

My first time in Gibsons! I went with my partner, and it was such a comfortable stay. The walk to the local town centre was easy - about a kilometer. Super close to Armours Beach. I did some running and the hills are definitley steep, especially the walk up to the little nest from the main road but that just cancels out the yummy meals you'll have in town. ;) Clean and safe. The window with the view faces the driveway of the main house, which was the only issue for privacy concerns. Other than that, easy stay and really lovely recommendations left by the Host! Persephone brewing is a standout, as well as the fairy village that is Roberts Creek ✨️

A sweet suite! Lovely and cozy bedroom with the fireplace. Bruce was a very responsive host and quickly provided me with anything I requested or needed. I will definitely stay again when in the area!

The suite is very bright, tidy, and clean. There’s many kitchen supplies, cooking oil!, and we found the bed and duvet very comfortable. There’s a bus that goes to gibsons nearby and only a 3 min drive. The place is in a very quiet neighborhood and surrounded by trees. Would recommend!

Jerry’s place is lovely and cozy. We could tell a lot of effort was put into the set up and we appreciate that.

Wonderful unit in a great location in Westwood Lake. Private and quiet with great walking trail close by. We will highly recommend to other family and friends heading out to the island! Thanks so much for the great stay at Carriage House on the Rock!

We had an amazing stay while in Nanaimo this week. Everything was very clean and beautifully decorated. It felt like we were in the country and had complete privacy. It was very close to the fairy and all the things we wanted to see and do. The only downside is that it isn't big enough to bring our family back with us! Great stay, will definitely be back

This was a beautiful and peaceful property and the suite was well equipped and very large. I would definitely stay again. Only things I could say to help others is that if you aren’t a fan of hard beds, you may want to keep this in mind. Half of us liked it and the other half were uncomfortable but this isn’t a deal breaker because you can’t please everyone all of the time. The only thing I would suggest since it is equipped to sleep 8 people is to have a different set up for the living space, meaning more seating (like a comfy sectional or something more for everyone to relax and unwind after long days). There were five of us and had long days at the rink and it would’ve been nice to all kick back and relax to watch a movie together but there’s only a small futon couch in the living room that sits 3 people. Again, not a deal breaker because we had a lovely stay.

I really enjoyed my stay in this lovely property with a view of the sea. It’s well-organised, uncluttered, very peaceful and clean. I highly recommend staying here - many thanks Isabel!
