We stayed here for our 10-year anniversary with our two kids and our little dog, and it was just perfect. Mornings were misty and magical—watching the sunrise while the kids tore up and down the road on their bikes. My wife got some good Comrades training in, and we all enjoyed the fresh country air and some bird watching. The cottage had everything we needed and was super comfy and clean. We made breakfast together, sipped wine by the fire in the evenings, and just soaked up some real quality family time. Phillipa is an excellent host and very responsive to all our questions, we would love to return here someday!

Such a lovely spot! Arrived to a kitchen stocked with breakfast goodies and snacks. Beautiful views of the valley. Super cozy spot with heaters and blankets. Very quiet and peaceful. Bit of a bumpy road in (especially for low suspension cars), but the owners followed us in to make sure we were safe, so top tier service, for sure! Would highly recommend, and will definitely be back.

Everything was great with Bianca's place. The place is very quiet, safe and welcoming. We would look into staying again if we need a place in Hilton.

We had a great stay at Inversanda Farm. The fenced yard was large so our dogs had plenty of room. The cottage was cozy and a substantial size so we could comfortably stay for 4 nights. We would definitely be back!

Beautiful scenery! We enjoyed our overnight stay at the cottage, breaking up our trip from Joburg to the South Coast. We woke up to beautiful weather and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and multiple seating areas. The evening was very cold but the heater and electric blanket helped. I recommend packing warm clothes and slippers. Shann was a great host, very helpful and responsive. We would come back to enjoy more peaceful time at the cottage.

The Watering Hole is a beautiful and idyllic property in a magnificent location. The hosts are friendly, accommodating and left personal messages and treats for us to enjoy. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will book there again if needed.

Felt like we were in the treetops in the jungle! Absolutely stunning setting. We were thrilled to see Knysna Turacos multiple times. It was a very spacious area and it was no problem having multiple other tenants who lived on the property. The kitchen was extremely well outfitted with all you could want. Although it was chilly- we never needed the gas heaters as the space was upstairs and so naturally warmer. Justin was great to chat with and flexible with us hosting friends for a meal. Darrell was very friendly as a host and showed us around. Many thanks!

Good value

Stayed in unit 4 for a month while waiting for my long-term rental to come through. Barry and the staff are lovely and really took care of me during my stay. The accommodation is as shown in the pics - a little bit rustic but comfortable. It’s in a lovely natural setting - friendly dogs next door, monkeys swing by for visits, occasionally see buck as well. But this also means that there are some bugs and spiders etc and they will visit occasionally. Unit four had a fireplace which is brilliant for winter. And there were a few plugs set up to operate during load shedding (very helpful!). Any issues/questions were resolved very quickly.

Great stay at Skye cottage at Inverness Farm. Very secure fenced in garden, perfect for our dogs. Very cute and quaint cottage, a lot to do in the area, cycling routes and such beautiful surrounds in the Midlands. A hidden gem for sure!

We recently enjoyed a delightful stay at a charming cottage nestled in the beautiful KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. The cottage was a perfect blend of rustic charm and comfort, offering a cozy retreat amidst the stunning countryside. The interior was tastefully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, while the kitchen setup made it easy to prepare our own meals. The surrounding landscape was peaceful, with rolling hills and lush greenery that provided a serene backdrop for our getaway. We loved exploring the nearby walking trails and visiting some of the nearby eateries. The hosts were open and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Overall, our experience was memorable, and we highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful escape in nature.

We really enjoyed our stay with Sabelo! It far exceeded our expectations—a beautiful, large, and spacious home set in a peaceful and stunning environment! Sabelo sent a pin location and so it was easy to find the location, however, the road after some heavy rains was very muddy and we got stuck in the mud. But, Sabelo and the team were stars and helped us get out the mud & looked out for us the entire stay! We were met by Nomsa when we arrived, who came in daily to light the fire, clean the kitchen and make the beds. The kitchen was fully kitted out with a stove, oven, airfryer and smeg toaster and kettle. Plenty of dining area space, large living room and TV area. Lovely surroundings, perfect for a peaceful walk. A really great location for a family getaway!

Das Apartement war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und liebevoll ausgestattet. Der Gemeinschaftspool ist direkt vor der Terrasse und wir haben ihn gerne genutzt. Wir haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt, es ist eine schöne Wohngegend.

Watkins farm was such a special place. we loved our stay. Reggie was so welcoming and our boys loved him, providing adventures around the dam and farm. it was a perfect getaway for us and our dogs. A slice of heaven. thank-you George and Reggie and Bob the dog

Staying in this little cottage felt like being in a hug - comfortable and snug. We could not get enough of the view from the lounge. The decor is both stylish and invitingly cozy. We have a new Midlands-fave. An extra is the fact that this gem is so close to many of our family favourite foodie places….. PS: we loved how Fortunate switched on the heaters for our later than planned arrival.

A beautiful and tranquil place. Debbie was great to communicate with. Check in and out were both easy. The cottage is lovely and very well appointed. Highly recommended!

Apart from one of the most amazing gardens, this cottage is clean and very comfortable. Will definitely be back.

We booked both cottages on the property for a long overdue family break. Everything was perfect...in fact more than perfect. Each house was well equiped and the 3 toilets in each house was super useful with so many people. The surroundings was tranquil and relaxing. Remember to: 1. pack some apples to feed the horses. 2. pack trainers as there are some lovely walks 3. pack swimming shoes and towels. The hosts were so accomodating and easy to communicate with. The property much more than we hoped for. Do not hesitate to book.

My family and I spent Christmas at Oakvlei Farm and we absolutely loved it! The house was perfect in every way. We were amazed by how friendly and responsive Carol and her team were during our stay as they never hesitated to assist us. I have to condone her for the extremely comfy beds and quality linen on the beds. We were able to bring our two little dogs in which they were able to run around the whole day, seeing as the big garden is completely closed off. If you are looking for a peaceful and spacious retreat with friends or family, I highly recommend Carol's place.
