The home is absolutely beautiful, but the surrounding area is sketchy. Heard a lot of gunfire and emergency response vehicles during my 30 day stay, more than average and I have lived in Detroit and Los Angeles area. The home is very close to downtown Durham and walking distance to North Carolina Central University. The home is very inviting and comfortable w/ a theater room and a smart TV in most rooms, including master bathroom. Downstairs bedroom is not a smart TV and would not work as it needed an antenna, firestick, Roku stick, or other external HDMI device to view channels. The front porch is inviting along with the back deck and firepit in the backyard. Home well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. All appliances are newer. Home has ample towels and face clothes within the 3 full bathrooms. Beds are extremely comfortable, but linen is limited. Office is bright and comfortable w/ stationary workout machine. Home also has a Peloton in living room next to fireplace.

We had a couple stay there that were doing a conference at our church. They were very pleased with the location, amenities, cleanliness and comfort of the house. We look forward to using this host for future events at our church.

This is our go-to for staying in the Graham NC area. We have stayed there many times, and it is always the best. Very comfortable. EV Charger. Convenient to everything in the area. Mike is incredibly responsive. Best AirBnB experience ever.

We were in town for my nephews wedding. I decided to try an airbnb instead of a hotel. I’m glad I did. The house was beautiful and the neighborhood was quiet. I will book it again when visiting.

We enjoyed our stay at Michelle’s place. When I met her at arrival she was the sweetest. The place was nice clean and spacious. We had more than enough room. It’s was worth every single dollar that I spent.

We had an overall 5 star stay here. The house and area itself is quiet and lovely. The hot tub and wood stove made the space very cozy. The views were amazing! Because there wasn’t much boat traffic or many neighbors around, it was very peaceful and quiet (there is probably more noise in the summer). Nearby uptown Roxboro is fun place to walk around visiting shops, bakeries and restaurants, even though it is small. And even though this is a rural area, it’s easy to get groceries. We also appreciated having soap and toilet paper and tons of board games provided. None of the house quirks bothered us, although in the summer months, being asked to limit laundry after lake activities might be more impactful on our enjoyment. We did have less responsiveness from the host than we are used to. None of our communication was a vital part of our comfort/overall enjoyment, but I do think it’s worth mentioning that since I’d be concerned if there had been a more serious issue to correct.

this place was perfect! easy access to the highway, but quiet enough not to realize. nice quaint neighborhood. I love how stocmed the place was with the little things you end up needing (spices, tin foil, soap and body wash). Will definitely stay again if I'm in the area!!

I can not say enough positive things about Tami and her home to stay in. Communication was terrific, earlier check in was an option, extremely clean home, wonderful personal touches throughout, tons of extra amenities just in case you forgot anything, quiet, peaceful, and easy check out. She even left us some fresh baked homemade cookies which was a wonderful surprise! Will definitely stay here again if we come back to the area!

We enjoyed our stay and Dawn was a great host! The listing described the space perfectly. The host was very responsive and the little added touches such as snacks and coffee were very much appreciated. If you're in the area, I'd highly recommend The Sweet Spot!

Mickey's place was the perfect getaway for our anniversary. It was secluded, had an awesome lakeview, and had the most gracious hosts who have been married for 39 years! I am a public school teacher who teaches children with exceptional needs. I have been trying to get to the beach since Spring Break. My husband said, "Since you like to fish, have you looked for lakes?" So, I looked and found Mickey's spot. It was perfect! Two days before check-in, I fell at work and fractured my foot and possibly my knee. I bought vacation insurance and could have cancelled because it has stairs to the unit, but I was really looking forward to going. Mr. Mickey and his wife, Mrs. Ann, were very accommodating. They used their utility vehicle to take me down the path to the lake for a boat ride and to fish. Mr. Mickey even let me reel in a fish that was on his line so everyone caught a fish! I went back on the dock the next morning and caught one on my on line!😊 We look forward to our next trip back!

This house was exactly as pictured with good space for four of us to all have our own room. It was well equipped with supplies and Mary/Joe were very responsive and helpful.

The Farm Stay studio was perfect! It was beautiful and bright and cozy, with gorgeous views of the farm and pond. The use of space was incredible with every amenity needed available. Great shower as well! Betty sent us so many ideas of places to see in the area and was a wonderful host! We hope to stay again when we return to the area.

The host was awesome! Always responsive had everything we needed totally stocked , very quiet peaceful place! Has an awesome garden! Came for ten days would up staying 45 . Couldn’t ask for a better time and place while in Halifax Virginia

This place is heaven on earth. Check in was a breeze. The custom log cabin in beautifully appointed; dark wood and amazing lighting and artwork. The personal touches are so beautiful. Everything we needed was there, including in the kitchen. Spotlessly clean inside and out. Sadly I had to work remotely the entire time; internet made that happen seamlessly. The best part for us was the outside. Wraparound deck with a gorgeous view of the lake, with a charcoal grill and firepit. The floating dock was also immaculately clean and has chairs, at least one table, a "tiki bar", and even a little slide into the water for the kiddos if you go in the warm weather. I did yoga at sunrise on the dock, watching the sun come up over the river. Amazing. The hosts respected our privacy and were available for messages and responsive. I can't wait to return. Almost hate writing this review because I want it to be available next time we return. Five stars for sure. You're going to LOVE it!

My family and I love this place. This was our second time booking. The scenery and privacy is amazing. Perfect location for us to stay close to family who live in the area. We will 100% be visiting again. Harriette makes everything simple for check-in and check-out. Highly recommended. Get the real feel of peace and tranquility in a cozy cabin while only being minutes from town. You will not be disappointed.

This place is a gem! Quiet peaceful surroundings! Walkable to cider tasting room. Close to Hillsborough. Screened in porch was a joy at night! Wish we could have stayed longer!

this place is awesome for fisherman looking to fish all the surrounding lakes then come back and fish the pond and hang out around the firepit with family and friends..the house and property are beautiful and comfortable

Roy’s place was great. My grandchildren didn’t want to leave. they had so much fun. I set up was nice and all the activities was the best. I know where I will be staying when I come back to NC!!!

I was fortunate enough to be able to book Amy’s place for Christmas and it was perfect. Large enough to have the family together with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. There isn’t one thing I would change about our stay. The house was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated for the holidays. I was lucky to briefly meet Amy and had a great chat she is very friendly. We will certainly book this house again. Thanks Amy

This is a gorgeous home in a great area! It’s close to town and activities but yet in a private and peaceful location. I am absolutely humbled by the care Margo gave us, we came into town unexpectedly due to a death in the family, she went out of her way to get the house cleaned and ready by the time we got there. Her kindness will not be forgotten!

Shane was an excellent host from beginning to end! The cabin is very private and peaceful with a great view of the lake and lots of amenities. I would definitely stay again.
