A perfect weekend. The house is stunning, plenty of space for 8 adults, a child, a baby and the dogs. Everyone had such a wonderful time. There was everything we needed and more. The location and the view were incredible - lovely stroll along the seafront into beautiful Cowes with great choice of shops, restaurants and cafes. Watching the boats go past from the living room was such a treat. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and would definitely visit again if same sized group heading to IoW. Jo was extremely responsive, friendly and helpful - everything you could ask for in a host.

We were a multigenerational family group , including young grandchildren, wanting a nice relaxing holiday by the seaside, with things to do for everyone. The Gate House was exactly what we needed, with lots of room and excellent facilities! We had shared time and privacy with large communal living and dining space and a lovely enclosed safe garden and outdoor dining facilities. We knew the area but the recommended dining options were excellent. Great beers from The Bus, excellent wood fire pizzas from the beach pop up, great burgers by Fat Shaun and a Greek takeaway from the Piano bar.,with Sunset drinks in The Albion. An easy short walk to the beach, which though a bit pebbly was an ideal location on the sunny days for family fun, with Sandcastles. The sea was good for paddling, jumping and swimming and easy access to the cafe for drinks and ice creams. Sam and Simon were excellent hosts and we have no problem in recommending this fantastic holiday venue and hosts!

Lovely stay. Very clean, nice garden area and walking distance to Yarmouth. Great views. Some considerations if planning to stay... The layout is with kitchen and living area on the middle floor, one bedroom upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs. Worked fine for us but worth bearing in mind if young children as the room with bunk beds is a long way from the other rooms. There are also two tables seating four each so can't all eat together if a large group. The parking is a bit tricky if two cars as to park next to the house one car has to go in the garage which is a squeeze for a large car/can't open the doors properly. There is free parking a short distance away though as another option. Overall it was great

The property was stunning, immaculately finished, fully equipped, and in an unbeatable location just steps from the beach. Easy walk to a great local restaurant too. The host was very helpful and made everything smooth from start to finish. Our group of 10, spanning all ages from young kids to grandparents, had a fantastic short break. We all wished we could have stayed longer.

We had the most lovely stay! We felt right at home, it was beautiful and comfortable and we were in complete awe the moment we walked in. The amenities were perfect. Cannot fault anything! Kate was extremely helpful, attentive and friendly. She made us feel so welcome and was extremely responsive. I would highly recommend a stay here and we will definitely be back to stay again.

We had a lovely stay over Easter. The house had all the space we needed as a family of 6; good size bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, good storage. Beds were comfy, kitchen spacious and well equipped, very clean. We took two cars and had no issue fitting our larger car in the provided car space for the house, and using street parking for the other car. There are a lot of stairs, but plenty of stair gates to keep the toddler contained, and meant stunning views out to sea to watch the boats.

We’ve stayed with Kevin a number of times. He always impresses with great communication, immaculate presentation of apartment and flexibility of service. We have had a lovely stay again and will book again in the future. Thank you so much

Beautiful house with lots of character. We were six adults with one child - the house is well equipped for that number. Great location for us - we know Seaview well and enjoy the walks around the area. A really enjoyable stay.

We had an amazing stay at Mark’s place on the Isle of Wight. Everything was perfect — clean, comfortable, and ideal for a family getaway. The kids loved it, and Mark was a fantastic, accommodating host. Truly a memorable trip — highly recommended!

Perfect location for our family stay. The site and amenities were fab, right on the beach with gorgeous coastal walk. Super location to get around and explore the island as there is so much to do. Caravan was homely, clean and very reasonably priced. Caron was an exceptional host, very responsive and super kind leaving Easter eggs and mascots for the kids. It was perfect and we will be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a lovely stay at this lodge, it was a great location for us visiting family and getting around the island. The property had everything we required and a lovely view. Jenny was really helpful and very responsive to any messages from the point of reserving through to the day of our check out. Thank you for letting us stay Jenny and we will be back!

Beautiful house and amazing swimming pool. We loved staying here as it was so relaxing and peaceful.

We had a fabulous stay at Stella's for our visit to the Isle of Wight. The house is gorgeous, it is bigger than we were expecting and beautifully decorated. The location is ideal, less than a minute walk to the beach front. We didn't have a problem finding parking outside (free). I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Sandown!

We had the most wonderful family stay at Tom's. It was our first time visiting the Isle of Wight, and we really appreciated all of Tom's insights into the area (I was glad to be tipped off about the distance to a petrol station!). He was brilliant at communicating and very friendly. The house is a bit tucked away, but his instructions for finding it were super clear so I had no trouble getting there. The house was lovely. It was bright, clean and felt like a home. We'd chosen it mainly because our daughters were desperate for a bunk bed! Luckily they liked it. :) Being so close to a beach was great and we took a couple of evening strolls, which felt quite special. Everything we needed was in the house. I was very impressed with the kitchen supplies - we cooked a lovely meal with farm bought food one night. I'd absolutely recommend this home to anyone visiting Ventnor or the Isle of Wight.

Had a lovely Easter weekend & as a nice little touch Bev left a cake & card for my birthday which was very much appreciated with a cup pf coffee when we arrived. Local to all amenities in Ryde. The flat was very quirky, with comfortable beds on a lovely quiet street. Would definitely recommend

Such a beautiful home. From the minute we walked in we felt at home. This was our first trip traveling abroad with three children under the age of five and we could not ask for a better experience. Mike greeted us and made us feel comfortable. The house was incredible. Very well equipped. Extremely clean. The space was great. The added bonus was the playset and trampoline in the yard. We had a local photographer visit and she said it was the nicest home rental she had seen on the island. Do not hesitate to rent this house. You will not regret it. Thank you Mike for a wonderful vacation.

The lobster pot was beautiful place. Fantastic views and beach. Restaurants near by were lovely and relaxing. The place was perfect for family of 4. Watching the sail boats while eating breakfast / dinner was amazing. Warm weather allowed us to eat on the patio watching the sea and some boat races. Everything we needed was provided, for self catering. Neat clean and tidy. The kids loved the lobster theme. I can’t fault the place.

Highly recommend, situated in a great location. Fast responding hosts. Accomodation looks exactly like the photo's. The finishing touches and attention to detail for our christmas stay were lovely, from the table decorations to the mince pies and procesco in the fridge ☺️

This was a perfect location for our short break and Chris’s house in Cowes was perfect with everything we could need and just a very short walk to the old town with independent shops and Coast restaurant which is one we would recommend but do book ahead as it is popular. We had a lovely stay and the property is decorated and appointed very well indeed. We would definitely recommend a stay here .

This is a beautiful property and we used it as a great base to explore the island for a few days. Comfortable beds with nice crisp white sheets, great showers, and the hot tub was an added bonus after completing the Randonnee bike ride round the island on Sunday! The outside space is a sun trap and perfect for relaxing evenings. Nicholas is a great host, very communicative and added some nice welcoming touches for our arrival.
