Hiking nearby at Colonel Denning State Park, Audubon Hawk Watch, Opossum Lake and Little Buffalo State Park. Outdoor fire pit next to the creek and propane fire pit on the back porch for rainy days. And local Amish produce and wineries just down the road!

The McVeytown House house is located within walking distance of the Juniata River Access Area. Yoder Tourways Bus Garage is right across the street, in case you are scheduled for a tour! And with the railroad right close by you can watch the trains from the living room and also the front porch! There are 3 bedrooms. Two bedrooms each have a queen bed and the third has a king bed.

Sit around the campfire, free firewood is provided, enjoy a walk in the woods! Family friendly. We allow pets but have a two pet limit and they must be crated when unattended.
