We used Stacey’s home as a base for our wedding weekend. It is in a rural location but the home is easy to find. It was neat, clean and had stunning views. The home is fully equipped which came in handy. Stacey is also super responsive and helpful. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend!

Thank you to Silv and Steve for a wonderful getaway! Silv and Steve were very welcoming, kind and responsive. The prepared pizza dough on arrival as well as being invited to explore the wood shop and feed the alpacas was a special touch. The cabin was very clean and tidy. It was beautifully finished with lovely woodwork by Silv and Steve. The wood fired pizza oven and hot tub was an extra touch. The marked walks on the property were fun to explore. The view was lovely. Overall fantastic stay. We will definitely stay if we head back to the area. Would highly recommend it!

I had a wonderful stay at Sam’s place! The home was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect — quiet, safe, and close to everything I needed. Sam was a good host: friendly, responsive, and thoughtful, offering helpful local tips and making sure everything went smoothly. I especially appreciated the little touches that made the stay feel like home. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Auckland.

We stayed here for our babymoon, and it was absolutely perfect! The incredible views were breathtaking and made our trip so relaxing and memorable. We kept thinking to ourselves how fortunate we were to have the view! Waiheke is awesome and waking up to such stunning scenery each morning so restful. The hosts were so warm and friendly—they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special. Their communication was excellent from the start, making check-in and planning seamless. They made us feel so welcome and cared for throughout our visit. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with amazing views and wonderful hosts, this is the place to be! We can’t recommend it enough. Thank you for making our babymoon unforgettable!

We had a lovely and peaceful trip. The weather sucked, but the house was comfy and wonderfully quiet. We were surrounded my nature with beautiful native birds, highland cattle and even a rooster strolling around the property. Given the weather we also enjoyed the fire.

Great location, just a few minutes walk from many harbourfront restaurants, cafés and bars and great to have the sunrooms overlooking the water Kim was brilliant, helpful and fast to communicate and we had a great stay The included Gym and Pool are 30 seconds walk from the apartment and that was a bonus Thanks, Kim

Lynne is truly the best host we’ve ever had. She welcomed us with a big smile, warmth, and kindness that instantly made us feel at home. The place is absolutely lovely, with breathtaking views, excellent bedding, and beautiful furniture. Everything was thoughtfully prepared,homemade muffins (they were amazing!), snacks, chocolates, and even asking for our milk and wine preferences! Her hospitality truly went above and beyond. Lynne made sure we had everything we needed and was incredibly attentive throughout our stay. We left feeling relaxed and really appreciated the care she put into every detail. Fantastic location with direct park access. The most wonderful deck with great views- a joy in summer. Please note: this place doesn’t have an oven or a freezer and the bathroom is tiny, but we managed to make this place our home for a month during renovations. It may not be the ritz but it certainly does have character and a super accommodating host (with the friendliest, loveliest dog- Ziggy is definitely a highlight)

The apartment is spacious and modern with stunning views over the marina. It is well equipped with everything you could need. We received clear instructions making it easy to find and access the property. We had a very enjoyable few days exploring the beautiful coastline around Whitianga.

We had an amazing stay at David and Sue’s. Everything was as described. Such a spacious yet homely feel with absolutely everything we could want. David was very approachable and helpful. Highly recommend a stay here. Would love to return

The best airbnb I’ve stayed at (I’ve stayed at a lot). The most beautiful, comfortable, private place, close to everything you need.

We had a 6 day family Christmas Holiday here and it couldn't have been nicer. Daniel and Angela met us when we arrived and explained the various systems such as pool, TV, internet, etc. They were available nearby in case we needed them (which turned out we did not), but did not intrude in our privacy. The actual facilities were even nicer than the photos and descriptions provided in the AirBnB listing. One of the special things about this home displayed was the care and art that the hosts have put into it. Everything is amazing. It is ultra-private and it seems as if you are alone in the forest overlooking a beautiful valley. The view from the upstairs master suite is awesome. Our two grandkids spent hours each day in this nice, clean, warm pool. The pool - patio area was well done and relaxing for lounging between swims. . I would HIGHLY recommend this property and hosts.

As a group of 8 people we had a great time during summer here. The hosts were of great help when we had some “parking issues” with our trailer - they organized someone to pull us out of a ditch ;-) and that truly saved our vacation. That was amazing. Whatever was missing was quickly organized. Unfortunately an all-year fire ban on GBI meant we were not allowed to use the outdoor fire place, and since the nights get cold quickly we were looking forward to sitting in front of the outdoor fireplace in the evenings, which obviously did not happen. Also, the utility of the massive balcony is close to nil - it was either burning hot or freezing cold out there. In that regard, if you look at this place, consider that what you get is somewhat less than what you might expect from the pictures alone. Despite these drawbacks we would love to come back any time.

We absolutely loved this beautiful historic home and immediately felt relaxed and comfortable. The staff were extremely discreet but available if sought out. We were impressed with the access to chickens and consequent fresh eggs, and small vegetable garden. On arrival the home had every set of French doors thrown open. It was airy inviting and thoroughly enjoyed throughout our stay. The Fitzroy Port area is a little remote from the busier Southern part of the Island but with a rental vehicle this was not a problem,. and there are a number of walks available within the area to not require a vehicle should one use not to hire one. Food is expensive on Great Barrier and it is recommended to stock up and take supplies in a chilli bin with you. There is a store on the Fitzroy wharf which is well stocked however, should you run out of your supplies. The property also has a jetty of its own and can be booked and used to moor your boat should you arrive by sea.

Absolutely loved it stay at Cindy’s place! Communication was great from the start, instructions for the driveway and access to the keys was simple. The house was clean and comfortable, well equipped kitchen big fridge and freezer, so many outdoor seating areas as well as a large indoor table and multiple places to just sit and look at the pristine view. Well suited for a group of 10. Beds were all made, linens, towels and pillows were al great. It was so handy having everything provided and ready for us on arrival. With a big storm the night we arrived we had a nice time having dinner at the table, then sitting in the lounge with plenty of seats for us all. The stunning weather the next day meant we could enjoy the amazing outdoor space. Very walkable to Hatfields beach, also to Orewa but we chose to drive there as likely to be picking up groceries! A place we would book again for sure! Thank you for having us!

Shivani is an absolutely delight and a fantastic host! The description and pictures represented the beautiful and tastefully decorated home to perfection. It was really a home away from home. Beautiful location, gorgeous views and incredibly well maintained property and home. Thank you Shivani, for your generous hospitality, warm and helpful nature and being so incredibly responsive. We will definitely be visiting again! Perfect family getaway :) 10/10 all round!

Upmarket accommodation in a great location. We loved the espresso machine for a coffee first thing in the morning; and the spa later in the day. Laurence is a very responsive host and clearly wants to make sure guests have everything they need to enjoy their stay. We'd look to stay here again in future.
