Our group of grandparents (visiting from Canada), parents and 2 children aged 6 and 2 enjoyed our Easter weekend stay. The kitchen was well equipped for all our food prep; bedrooms were comfortable, spacious and clean; there were DVDs of cartoons that the adults all remember, as well as some movies. The adults enjoyed playing table tennis, and the sleepout was a good place to store bicycles. Proximity to the excellent playground, the beach and the estuary were big pluses. The enclosed yard was also helpful for keeping the children safe. And wine and chocolates were a pleasant welcoming gift. Thanks so much for sharing your attractive and comfortable bach.

My family and I had a lovely 2-night stay at Lis's property - it was peaceful and very clean, exactly like the photos. Kitchen was fully stacked with all the pots, pans, plates and cups you needed plus other kitchen appliances. Lis was very communicative and check in was easy. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Otaki area. Plus, the little treat she left us was delicious! Thank you so much Lis x

A beautiful spot with everything you need to have a great family vacation. Close to supermarkets and park, the house is a great size and in great condition.

Our stay for the last weekend of the school holidays was PERFECT im glad we made the trip to Ōtaki for a family reunion we enjoyed our stay so much we hope to return again the fire made the place so cosy when you could sit around it with the beach in your view there was lots of space, games were a hit for the kids although we didnt spend most of our time soaking up the beautiful surroundings we had a great experiences, it didnt end there waking up and having the beautiful beach right there was an absolute bonus from sunset to sunrise was stunning!!!

A fabulous place for a family holiday - my kids loved playing in the flat yard and with the beach about a minute or two walk away, it was easy to get the kids into the water and back. Raumati South four square and cafes just over 5 minutes walk away. The bach itself was well equipped with basic supplies and Amy is a wonderful host - proactive communicator and extremely kind and helpful.

Kids and I LOVED it here! Lovely house, in a very quiet (and convenient to much) neighbourhood. Property had everything one could ask for, attention to detail throughout, and there was even a small park across the road, which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. Jerry (and Team) were wonderful and very quick-to-respond hosts. We will certainly be back! Highly recommended!

Carole's place suited us perfectly. We were at a conference so did not eat at Carole's place. The spouting was dripping where we had to sand to access the lock box which was a bit annoying. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge whichhad comfortable chairs. Good off-street parking.

Lovely little place. Viv is a great communicator and was generous with supplies and arrivals/departure times. Totally adequate as a base for us to stay while attending some training nearby.

Very cosy spot for three of us, clean and very well appointed down to salt, pepper and cooking oil! Will stay again when we come down.

Friendly hosts, close to the beach, spacious place, hot tub (!) and two cuties (dog and cat) welcoming us upon arrival. We were unlucky with the weather, but the hot tub made even the rainy evenings enjoyable. We will definitely come back!

Stunning views. Even though you’re in the bottom floor of the house it’s very quiet and private. Roomy enough for lots of suitcases. About 5 manageable stairs and a good hand rail if you have mobility concerns. Handy basic supplies in the kitchen cupboard and laundry. Comfy sofas and bed. I can see why a lot of other reviewers go back again and again.

Absolutely beautiful spot - best I’ve ever had. Felt like a palace for us on a night together without the kids!

Ultra clean & spacious apartment with private access. Amazingly comfortable bed, great shower with nice toilettries, nice glasses & crockery. Linda had thoughtfully left breakfast provisions: eggs, bread, butter, milk, and beautiful chocolate. Access to a long, flat, sandy beach is next to the neighbours house. Thanks Linda & Shane
