My family and I enjoyed staying at Michelle's Blue Heron Lakefront Cottage! Michelle was a great host, super responsive & helpful when we had issues connecting to the TV! The place was beautiful and we would for sure come back! Thanks again for having us :)

Property was massive with walking trails throughout, 10min drive to ganaraska forest was a bonus. there was lots of room to accommodate 3 vehicles with atv trailers

Had a great time at Angie's place! Everything was very clear, clean and easy—instructions were left out and amenities were provided. The hot tub was a great bonus to the weekend. We even had a delayed car picking us up, and Angie was very accommodating and understanding about letting us stay slightly longer while waiting for its arrival.

Brett was an awesome host. Was always super responsive and helpful. His cottage was such a relaxing time for my family and I. The backyard was very private and great for my dog to run around in. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing, and using the fire pit!

This place was amazing and very clean.. They had almost everything we need. I really loved this place and we enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, playing ping-pong and also we enjoyed staying outside with our bonfire. The best part was the hot tub we had time to sat in the hot tub while talking great memories with friends. I highly recommend this place to those families that need peaceful and enjoyable vacation or time off like us.. We drove 5 hours from Windsor and my friends drove 3 hours from Ottawa... The 2 kids were having fun playing with the arcade.... Thanks to the host...

Helena was amazing. Exceptionally helpful and accomodating when we ran into issues on our end. Would definitely recommend this location and definitely would return!

Michael’s place was a great fit and stay for the group of six that was brought. He was an extremely responsive host and even gave great areas to do some other activities off the air bnb property. Location is great as it’s right on the water and it’s an extremely peaceful area. Michael let me know in advance everything that needed to be known and made my stay extremely easy going and smooth. There are so many great amenities between board games, canoes, and more. I highly recommend this stay as it was one of the most welcoming and calming homes I’ve been to. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Place was very equipped with everything you need to a perfect getaway from the city. Extra blankets and sheets. Host was quick and very friendly with her responses. Would definitely recommend for anyone trying to just kick back and relax

Doreen and Derek were excellent hosts. They were warm, friendly and receptive. The place was clean, nicely furnished and the kitchen had all necessary amenities. The neighbourhood was quiet and beautiful. We would like to visit the place again if the opportunity arises.

We had a good time during our short stay for Georgina marathon! The place was super cozy and felt just like home - it was such a lovely experience!

Wonderful experience from start to the end. Lisa goes above and beyond with best accommodation and recommendations. Felt like we came home and enjoyed peaceful and beautiful surroundings. My favorite place was by the dock, surrounded by clear waters and greenery for miles. We had enjoyed taking daily canoe trips, visiting waterfall as per Lisa’s recommendation! Thanks again! the airbnb was perfect and it was accurately represented through the photos (just as nice, if not better!) it was a beautiful little spot right on lake Scugog that was the perfect backdrop for a late night fire with smores. i highly recommend the location and we would definitely return. *its technically a basement unit so some noise from upstairs is inevitable but homeowners were very quiet!

Penny & John were wonderful hosts. Their place was beautiful and private. A full kitchen and provided us with some groceries and variety of snacks. They were quick to respond to any questions we had.

Nrupas cottage was more than what we expected! The location was perfect, the cottage is more like a house, the layout was perfect for gathering friends and family. The deck is huge and plenty of seating. There’s a fire pit with lots of seating. The bunkie is great for more privacy. There’s canoes, kayaks and a paddle boat…the lake is gorgeous. The neighbours are friendly. Comfy beds, We will be back!

We stayed here for two nights. While the cottage is older, it was very clean and well-maintained. The location offers great access to the lake with stunning views, but it's quite close to the main road, so you might hear some traffic noise. There are two canoes available, allowing you to explore the lake, which was a fantastic experience. The cottage has six queen beds, but the mattresses are quite soft, so if you have back issues, they may not be the most comfortable. The host was very responsive and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Michael and Margaret are great hosts. We head up to their place every winter now for a little cottage country escape. They are super responsive and helpful. Their place is warm, cozy, and has a great hot tub under the stars (and under the snow if you’re lucky). We’ll be back again!

Krista she is very kind, responsive and proactively checked us to make sure everything is fine with out any problem. her place is very beautiful, has stunning river side view as well as warm and cozy nest that you can get relaxed and enjoy the beautiful nature. also , any amenities and needs that makes your stay more enjoyable, is available there! so do not worry! you absolutely enjoy staying there. we recommend to stay there at least 2 night! thank you krista for your warm hospitality!

I had the best time at Sarah's place. It was so relaxing and and peaceful, I really needed to get away from the city and work and just take some time to unwind and relax. The beach cabin was a delight to stay in, everything was decorated so well and the hot tub and sauna helped us to decompress! There is a bbq to cook on and everything inside is spotless and pristine. It's a great place to visit for a girls trip or to reconnect with your partner! I can't wait to go back.

Perfect place to relax and stay away from the city. Very cozy and clean, comfortable mattress and it has all you need to cook. The cottage is spacious surrounded by trees and extremely beautiful in the morning with the sun hitting the trees with the fall colours. Take a time to have a coffee in front of the river. Anthony and Michael answered all my questions really quickly. Furnace falls is minutes away and I highly recommend a visit there. I would love to stay there again.

We chose to cancel our trip to South Carolina due to the current USA administration's policies. We opted instead for an Ontario staycation and Highpoint Hideaway checked all of our boxes. It is so cozy and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed the wood stove, the hot tub, the ambience and the natural setting. We went for some lovely walks and made all of our meals in the well stocked kitchen. It was important to us to have our dog, and the cottage was a perfect spot for him. I highly recommend Highpoint Hideaway!

My friend and I absolutely loved this place. It was the perfect getaway for two mamas to recharge and reconnect. The sights, the sounds and the place were exactly what we needed. The hosts are responsive and helpful. Thank you so much. We will be back.
