We loved our stay, exactly what we were looking for…. A beautiful sandy beach right outside of our door, without the crowds of tourist beaches. Turtles catching waves with us, along with dolphin and whale sightings from our lanai. If you do your research and understand that you are staying at an older place without all the fancy stuff, this place is exactly as described. This is old Hawaii, locals Hawaii.. the drive to the condo is sad with so many locals forced to live on the beach as Hawaii’s cost of living has become too much, along with the dire consequences of substance use.. understand you will see that. If that’s not for you to see, this isn’t the place. The condo was CLEAN and very comfortable, with everything you could need. Time your adventures right and arrive “home” in the evening then you won’t have a problem with traffic!

We wanted a family vacation that wasn’t the typical crowded Honolulu / Waikiki experience. Kathleen’s unit did not disappoint. Secure facility, clean grounds, an excellent pool with sauna, the beach was semi-private with only a handful of people on the beach at any one time (all friendly, by the way), the unit itself was clean, well appointed and exactly as advertised. The view - Unparalleled. The sunsets from the apartment were unbelievable. Kathleen is very helpful in providing a lot of information up front, so we were well-prepared for any contingency when we arrived. She was also extremely responsive with any communication once on-site as well. Definitely can recommend both Kathleen and this unit.

My family just returned from a truly wonderful vacation at the Hawaiian Princess. Mary’s place was perfect - very clean, cozy, and quiet. My husband is a go-go-go type of guy who has a hard time sitting still, and he said that this is the most relaxed he’s ever been. It’s not located in a walkable neighborhood, but after spending all day playing in the soft sand of the beach, relaxing in the jacuzzi, and napping between beach time, we were all ready to sleep once the sun went down. We happened to have big waves the entire time we were there due to NW winds, which meant no swimming out into the water for us, but my young kids had fun watching body surfers as well as playing in the swash. Mary was always quick to respond, which made our stay that much more pleasant and easy. We would love to come back for another stay!

Kathleen's place was fantastic. Well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. Washer and dryer are great. She provided 2 beach chairs, a great beach umbrella, boogie boards, beach towels etc. Recommend stopping at costco to get most of your groceries. The beach is fabulous and so clean. Not crowded at all. Loved swimming in the waves.

This was the perfect place for us to stay with our infant. The location was beautiful, close to the pool and public beachfront. A great restaurant right next door and everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gina & Kim’s ocean-side villa, and it was truly one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. After the hectic days in Silicon Valley, I was in dire need of a reset, and this retreat provided just that. The suite was incredibly clean, and while I never met the hosts in person, the communication was seamless, with clear instructions provided throughout my stay. The location was perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. I was able to exercise outdoors, eat healthy meals, and enjoy the serene atmosphere without a care in the world. The villa itself was exactly as advertised, with beautiful views and easy access to the beach and pool. It was the ideal spot to unwind and enjoy nature. I truly appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. I can't wait to return!

Our host Pat was very responsive! The condo was described very accurately and was a great deal for the price. I like being away from the busy city areas and this was perfect! The beach below the condo is pristine, we were able to swim in the ocean and even saw a few sea turtles. This is definitely an older resort but is priced accordingly. Kitchen was well stocked. Beach stuff was also well stocked. The 2nd bed is a pull out couch and is not super comfy as a bed but the couch is great! Overall we had an amazing stay!

The condo was great and just what we needed. We were able to cook meals so we didn’t have to eat out all of the time. We loved that beach items were available for us to use. The condo was nice and relaxing, providing just the atmosphere we wanted/needed. We would recommend and stay here again!

Great place in the north shore! Turtle beach is about a 10-15 minute walk from the condo. We would play at the beach and then come back to swim in the pool. The wagon with the beach chairs and floaties were key and a hit with the kids. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want to be in the north shore. Close to food trucks, the mill, and sunrise shack. Need a car but everything is a short drive. Would love to return!

Great location, comfortable accommodations, and affordable! Checks all the boxes! Stayed with 4 grandchildren, two adult children, my husband , and myself. There were games and water toys stocked up. The kitchen had the necessities. We would stay there again 💜

Great location. The private beach and grounds were amazing. We visited a few other beaches, but they were always extremely crowded with little to no parking available. We could see whales and sea turtles from our own little, cozy beach area. LaRona had all we needed to enjoy ourselves. The condo is very well supplied with everything we needed too. We cooked most of our meals and saved money on eating out. The area was very close to many wonderful tourist attractions. The only highway around the area gets crowded and takes awhile to get places, but they were always beauty of the area makes up for it. We truly enjoyed ourselves stay and would highly recommended staying with LaRona. She is a responsive and proactive host who took care of our every need. ALOHA

This condo was perfect for our stay on the north shore! The host answered all of my questions in a timely manner. The pool is located right outside the unit which was very convenient. It is a short drive to amazing beaches and delicious food trucks. We would definitely stay here again !

Jacqui‘s place was exactly what we were looking for. If you’re looking for a remote part of Oahu where you have a beautiful beach cottage 30 feet from your bedroom this is your spot. Her place was well stocked and exactly as advertised. Not big but plenty of space for the three of us. The best part of the day was getting up and going to the beach first thing in the morning. The beach has great sand and the water has some small reefs which provide opportunities for some good snorkeling and plenty of tortoises. It’s a very special place to be able to spend some time. The only potential downside is that it’s usually 30 to 50 minutes to drive to other parts of the island. If you’re not looking to do a lot of driving, this might not be your place, but the landscape is so beautiful that the rides are enjoyable.

This place was great! Perfect location and easy to get in and out. Everything was clean and the hosts were very accommodating. Would recommend to anyone staying on the north shore!

Helena was a wonderful host! The apartment was beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The north shore is such a beautiful, quiet part of the island so we were very thankful to stay here. It felt very safe, and we appreciated the well stocked kitchen. The beds and pillows were absolutely FANTASTIC (even the sofa bed, which is incredible in itself)!! Turtle Bay was very close with a beautiful beach and lovely snorkeling! The grounds surrounding the area was also incredibly taken care of, creating an inviting and beautiful area. We would definitely recommend staying here! 😊

Place was very relaxing and right on the golf course. Unfortunatly that course was closed so we did not get to see people pitching and putting on the green. But it was super close to resort and gave us plenty of time to relax and enjoy Hawaii

Easy walk to the beach, great option for the north shore.

Everything was clean and very well stocked. We had everything we needed for the beach and for cooking.

We had a nice stay at this property. Our family enjoyed the beach just steps from the cottage patio. The setting was incredibly peaceful, and the quiet surroundings made it a perfect retreat. One of the best parts was that they provided beach toys and snorkel gear for our child, which made our time there even more enjoyable. She spent hours snorkeling right in front of the cottage and playing in the sand. There were only two adults and a small child, and I think the size was great for us, but for a larger family this would be a tight squeeze. All of our activities were located on the east and north sides of Oahu, so a car is required to stay at this location. The parking stall for this unit is literally right next to the patio, super convenient.

Nice, quiet condo within walking distance of Turtle Bay Resort. Overlooks golf course and is adjacent to walking trails. The bed was quite comfortable, and the condo is very well-equipped. Host was friendly and responsive. This was a good value; just be aware sales tax is not included in the advertised rate so add another $300+ to the bill.
