Casstevens Homestead Farm House (Entire House)

Casstevens Homestead House located on 145 acres near Mansfield. great for long walks in the country, or a place to get away. This is a working farm with livestock. House is approximately 150 years old, dating back 5 generations. There are large back pastures for walking out in the country. Pets are welcome, but we do have Great Pyrenees on the farm to protect our chickens. They are very friendly but the will probably greet you at the door. We can stable your horses for riding on request.

YJC offers a queen bed, pull out sofa, full kitchen and washer and dryer. We also offer a book full of fun things to do!

It's also the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful bookcation or stay in and binge-watch all your favorite movies and shows. This slice of heaven is the perfect quiet getaway to relax and unwind.

Thru your private entrance you walk past the waterfall pond, under an arch of tree vines, into a cozy and updated home. Outside at the end of the wraparound porch you’ll find a private fire place, complete with outdoor TV and built in hammock net. On the rooftop there’s a 2 person hot tub with incredible views of the city and Dallas National Golf Club.

Set on our wooded 10 acre property, guests are encouraged to enjoy the slow pace and simple pleasures of living in the country. Head down our dirt drive and let your worries slip away. Breathe in the fresh air and settle in to relax for a while. We love the Hideaway for its location tucked back into the trees, rocking chairs on the front porch, and the high vaulted ceiling.
