The Nut House

The Nut House is a one of a kind large Acorn suspended up amongst the trees. While staying in the worlds largest acorn you will be fully immersed in nature. You can sit on the porch and listen to the sounds of the birds and see clear creek flowing by. Private Guesthouse On Country Land

One-bedroom guesthouse with a private entrance, kitchen, pantry, bathroom, laundry room, & bedroom which has a desk, king size bed, & spacious closet. A pack n play & a twin mattress are also available. We allow guests to enjoy our breezeway porch that has an outdoor fireplace & a view into the wooded backyard that extends for 12 acres. We are a four minute drive from our quaint Van Alstyne downtown, one hour from DFW airport, & near several wedding venues. EXCELLENT option for long-term stays!

Our tiny space features remote entry and your own porch for sitting and enjoying the sunset. Approximately 550 sq. feet with many amenities. The queen size bed is a murphy bed and can be folded up to give you more space. There is also a fold out bed, all linens provided. This type bed is best for a child, teen, or small adult. We have alpaca, emu, goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, dogs, & cats. The space has a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, crockpot, blender, sink, dishes.
