Great house, homely, clean, all the amenities you could wish for. The garden was a lovely little suntrap, great for a morning coffee. Parking was free and easy at back of house or in the road. Very near a supermarket for essentials. Very near town and sea front. So glad we booked this lovely house.

We had a great weekend and the property was ideally situated to visit a number of National Trust properties and the coast. We enjoyed sitting in Claire’s beautiful garden and she was happy to help with any queries we had.

We loved the place. We felt like we were at home. The house itself has got that welcoming feeling that when you’re inside you just wanna stay indoor. It was warm and cozy. We loved the scenery outside as well.

What a lovely accommodation, and Vivienne was super friendly and helpful. Vivienne met us on check in, showed us the accommodation and gave some recommendations for food and walks. We had plentiful food for breakfast and a well equipped kitchen so we could make dinner too. The bed was comfortable, the heating works well (although we visited during warm weather we barely used it).

My stay at this charming Airbnb in Ashford was absolutely wonderful. The space itself was adorable — beautiful gardens, historic charm, and cozy in a way that immediately made me feel at home. But what truly made this experience unforgettable were the hosts. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely attentive without ever being intrusive. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel not just like a guest, but like a truly valued visitor. Their warmth and thoughtfulness created such a comforting atmosphere during my time away from home. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. We had a fantastic stay at Amy’s place. It was clean and looked exactly like the photos, the decor was lovely. It’s a great place to stay with lots to do in the immediate vicinity, we especially liked all of Amy’s food recommendations which were all excellent. The boys loved playing football in the garden with Amy’s son Theo and we all enjoyed meeting Jago the dog. Would definitely like to return to visit again

Had a lovely stay here. Beautiful setting with a secluded terrace perfect for watching the sunset. Super cosy annexe which was well equipped. Thank you very much for all of Aileen’s recommendations - we managed to see a lot over 2/3 days including Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate

The accommodation was exactly what I had expected and Chloe was helpful. We had all we needed for a short stay. I would definitely recommend staying with Chloe.

The garden was lovely for the dogs to enjoy and for us to sit and have that morning coffee and glass of wine in the evenings was bliss, with beautiful views. Caroline was amazing and her house was perfect for my mom and I for our England trip. Caroline helped us with many things, brought us some fresh eggs, milk, butter, and bread since we arrived late and had no time to get food. Very warm and welcoming, offered suggestions for getting around London and recommended great places to see. The place was gorgeous and the setting was like out of a storybook. I would 100000% stay here again!

Me and my partner booked this cute little Annexe for our weekend break away and were delighted with our stay! The room was beautifully decorated with a very comfy bed, and we had everything we needed for a short visit. Joanna was really friendly and welcoming, chatting to us about daily plans and offering to be available if there was anything more we needed - we could not have asked for a better host! We were in the heart of the village, with a little teashop nearby for lunches and cakes, and a pub up the street for the evening drinks. It was very easy to get to Rye when visiting in the day, just a 10/15 minute drive away. We would definitely recommend staying here if visiting Appledore or Rye!

The property was perfect. Exactly what we expected and it absolutely suited our needs. Melanie was a most attentive and kind host who made sure we were comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for her to make our visit enjoyable. This is a wonderful area of Kent to visit and we look forward to returning both to Tonbridge and Weald Lodge.

We were a group of school friends looking for a weekend getaway to celebrate our 'big' birthdays and catch up. Jenny made me welcome when I arrived, showed me around the house and gave me information about the village and surroundings which was very helpful. The mill was a beautiful location and the house was quirky and charming place to spend a weekend. It was comfortable, well equipped, clean, spacious and had beautiful views of the river. It was wonderful to sit outside on a sunny morning and look out over the river while having breakfast. The village is also lovely and has everything you might need so there was no need for us to get in our cars at all. We had lunch at the Tickled Trout one day which has a good menu and great garden and is right across the road from the house. We also took a walk into the countryside around the village and had a drink at The Hub cafe which had a nice, relaxed feel on a Sunday morning. All in all, we all agreed it was a perfect weekend!

Snap Mill Barn is a perfect getaway for two. We stayed with our dog, Molly and were all made very welcome. The place itself is well designed and well equipped. It manages to be both cosy and spacious. The surroundings are stunning and tranquil. Steve was very friendly and helpful. We downloaded a 'bird app' and identified at least 9 species of woodland bird singing in the immediate vicinity! I would definitely recommend Snap Mill Barn and wish we could have stayed longer. There is plenty to do and see in the area, too. Lovely walks to drive to or simply walk out from the front door into the countryside. We hope to be back soon.

Zara is an amazing host, who I couldn’t recommend more highly. The property was really tidy and very comfortable - if you’re looking for a place in the Rolvenden area, this is the place to stay

Emma was an exceptional host who made our stay truly memorable. The property was exactly as depicted in the photos. The garden was particularly stunning and added a special charm to our experience. Emma and her husband went above and beyond with their hospitality, making themselves available and offering assistance whenever needed. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything necessary for cooking, and the thoughtful welcome basket was a lovely touch that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend Emma's place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with attentive hosts who genuinely care about their guests' experience.

This is a great place to stay. You’re staying in the middle of the countryside, talking to the sheep but within 10 minutes you’re in the middle of Hawkhurst with great shops/supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Try the Prince of Kent for an excellent Indian or walk 25 minutes to the best Sunday roast at The Eight Bells. Anna is an excellent host; friendly, communicative and nothing is too much trouble. The Easter eggs and chocolate biscuits were a lovely surprise and much appreciated. The house was exactly as described. We will DEFINITELY be back, especially for a cuddle with the friendliest moggies in Hawkhurst. 🐈‍⬛

It was a perfect place to stay for me. The place is very pretty, cozy and well looked after. The host was very responsive, helpful too. Hope to come back here again.

Liz and Barry’s house was amazing! Everything was perfect. Excellent location just by the sea- first line house with nice terrace. Because of the lovely weather we spent most of the day outside tanning and enjoying breathtaking view. Quite area for good relaxation. House very clean, well maintained. Nice interior design. Beds very comfortable ( we had a very good night sleep), good shower. Liz and Barry very friendly. Thank you Barry for lighting a fire in wood burning stove for us , we had a lovely evening watching sunset and playing table games with my parents. Four of us saying thank you! It was my girlfriend’s birthday and we were gifted a birthday cake, along with croissants and biscuits. The stay was also relaxing and quiet, with a clean environment and comfortable bed.
