Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make your trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". 300 year old building, newly renovated in the picturesque fishing village of Crail. 1 1/2 miles from 7th oldest golf course in the world and 10 miles to the world class St.Andrews Golf Course. Short walk to beach front and a beautiful harbour as well as Fife Coastal Path. Has a lovely pottery shop where items are made on the premises. If you don't feel like cooking Crail has a good fish and chip shop. Pubs & grocery shops near by. Everything is within walking distance form the house.

It is a 10 minute walk to one of the best beaches in Scotland as well as a 10 minute drive to the historic town of St Andrews. Kingsbarns is surrounded by the best golf courses Scotland has to offer! After playing on the fairways and greens of Fifes finest or, meandering through the fabulous shops and restaurants of St Andrews, return to Grange Cottage for a dip in the Hot tub with a glass of bubbly.

This 1830s charming cottage has a front and back garden with stunning sea views. It's a short wander to the beach. Enjoy the large fully enclosed gardens while looking at the sea. We have just completed new interiors, with 2 bedrooms both with king-sized beds (UK) and soft white sheets throughout. A Nespresso coffee machine, hardwood floors, mini barbecue, and local art on the walls allow you to indulge in a seaside cottage with the feel of a hotel. We have parking on site.

The Cow Pads Crail offer you modern style in a beautiful country setting. We are really proud of our converted shipping containers which offer our guests accommodation for two people in a double bed, with ensuite shower room and a small kitchenette. The Cow Pads are fully insulated, 90% powered by green energy from the farm, have incredible countryside views and a delightful decking area. Cow Pad Gertie has an outdoor heated bath, festoon lights and patio area.

So, a lovely property in a great location which would be suitable for couples, small groups or families.
