This home was very unique in every way. You could not see into one room from another, which made privacy for our group great. The neighborhood was very peaceful except for one dog, but we have dogs, so it was not bothersome. The house had plenty of space and seating for everyone. The pool area was amazing as well. Jon left us some drinks and breakfast items for our stay as well. Everything was perfect and we look forward to staying again, if dance competitions bring us back to Charleston!

Gorgeous home! Spacious, nicely appointed, comfortable. The pool was relaxing and a nice bonus for this area. Our family really enjoyed it.

The house was exactly what we needed for two families staying together with a teen and a toddler. The activities in the house were fun and then the pool outside allowed something for everyone. Steve was a great host and communicated with us quickly! We would stay here again if we were looking for a great place outside of the hustle and bustle of the city.

Clean, plenty of entertainment, minimal cleaning request for check out. The house is stunning and so is the view of the lake. It is BEAUTIFUL. I would absolutely stay here again.

Renee was extremely communicative. Before we arrived, there seemed like there was some issues from the previous visit, but Renee was all over it and letting us know that it would be made right for us and she did so. Great home, great backyard space, plenty of room for a big group.

I had Stuart's place saved to my wishlist, and finally had the opportunity to stay for 3 nights in April 2025 for a local staycation Spring Break. My extended family (spouse, 4 kids, in-laws) spent 3 nights at the property. Everyone agreed it is a 5 star property. Both the heated pool and also the swim spa were big hits with my younger kids. Grandparents and my sons enjoyed fishing from the pier. Grilling and dinner on the patio at sunset is highly recommended. Stuart is very responsive. This was my first visit to Lake Marion. It's a rural area, and all about peaceful relaxation. We cooked most meals (kitchen is great). Next time I would bring full groceries with us - local restaurants and grocery stores are very limited. If you go out on the lake, highly recommend hiring a fishing guide, and skip any watersports. The lake has a number of hazards (e.g., submerged tree stumps, alligators) best left to people with local knowledge - Jim of Let's Go charters was great for us.

Upon arriving in Charleston, we found the home we booked on another site had been double booked. It was late and we were tired. I had 2 of my puppies with me so I found a hotel for the night. I began looking on AirBNB and found several homes but the owners/host were not willing to accommodate us. On my last attempt before deciding to just stick it out in a hotel, I reached out to Allison's listing. She responded quickly, was willing to waive the 3 night minimum and worked to get us into her home quickly. I cannot thank her enough. We got to the home and it was awesome, clean and as described. A bonus - Allison is a lover of animals and had toys, beds and even snacks for the pups. The small fenced in backyard was perfect for my little 4 legged babies. I highly recommend staying with Allison. She is da' bomb.

Responsive host by text and phone. Super helpful with the questions I had about parking. The house was clean and everything we used worked as it should. We will be back next year for sure.

One of the best Airbnb experiences I have had no doubt! The host is amazing and they go out of their way to make your stay at their home as comfortable and seamless as possible. They had homemade bread and a homemade quiche waiting for us! Even a hand written note inside their guest book specifically for us. They really care about the small details of sharing their home! We stayed while visiting family in the area with our two boys. The space overall was perfect for our family of 4. It was close to all the places we were visiting and the hosts also provided great recommendations for restaurants. The neighborhood was very quiet as well! Only downside would be that the front room did not have black out curtains, otherwise a wonderful stay.

Host was very reachable. Place was clean and maintained. Family of 4 with our pets fit and didn’t feel cramped. Worth the stay and easy to get to anywhere locally.

Second time I have stayed at Rose’s place! We come down and fish and she had plenty of parking for the boat and easy to get the boat back to the road. Secluded and private! Will be back!

What a beautiful place to stay the town of Summerville is amazing and people are extremely friendly. Dana and Craig’s place was easily accessible, but what I liked the most was the peace and quiet.. The interior was very clean very well decorated. Adorable cottage it is! Thank you!

5 Stars I stayed at Rayne and Palmer’s place for a full month, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It felt like a true home away from home. Rayne was incredibly communicative and thoughtful throughout the stay—always available when needed but never intrusive. Check-in was smooth, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and all the essentials were provided. I really appreciated the attention to detail and how everything was maintained—from trash and recycling to pest control and lawn care. It’s clear that they care about their guests having a great experience. If you’re considering a longer-term stay, I highly recommend this property. Thanks again for hosting us so graciously!
