This magical treehouse was built by Pete Nelson 25 years ago and recently renovated with help from his crew. It sits in living trees on our 5 acre property next to its own little pond and fountain. It has a bathroom with sink and toilet, hot water outdoor shower, wifi, heat, AC & more! Enjoy the outdoor space with, hammocks, grill and fire pit by the pond. It was designed to be a writer's cottage for Skeeter who is an author and an African historian. Skeeter and Jacque love having guests stay at the treehouse, especially writers and artists looking for a retreat to work on their craft. With few exceptions, the treehouse is available for stays of 2 to 5 days.

Lake allows ski boats, fishing, swimming, etc. Miles of trails at the south end of the lake for hiking, with a park for swimming & picnics. Just a few miles from historic Black Diamond, central access to Mount Rainier, Seattle & other nearby attractions. 3 golf courses 7-15 minutes away.
