Our 1850 log home features 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, a barn board kitchen, spacious living room overlooking Blueberry Creek, and warm dining room with rustic farm table. This little gem of a spot is on a secluded island in the middle of the Mississippi River. The sound of the rapids will lull you to sleep in your magical tent perched right over the water! This year we are building a treehouse on the island so although we will ensure no construction takes place during your stay, there will be construction materials around on the island

Beautiful farm setting in Lanark

40 minutes west of Kanata, ON in Lanark Highlands, 20 kms west of Almonte. The Doll House is a small cottage that overlooks the garden, with a queen size bed, heated and air conditioned, has a small fridge, kettle and coffee maker and a small BBQ. There is a sink and toilet in the Doll House and an OUTDOOR hot shower. We also have the Gate House to rent (see my other listing) which has 2 single beds, sitting area, kitchenette and bathroom with shower for $125 a night. Come, enjoy the farm!

The kitchen accessories seen in the photos are what is provided. We ask that you not bring your own dish soap, to protect our ecosystem we will provide it. BEDDING IS NOT PROVIDED PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PILLOWS AND BLANKETS.
