We stayed here for a few days. Just a family of 3, so we had loads of space. Check-in was easy and the place was as described on the listing. We loved the location because it was easy to walk into downtown Ottawa or grab a short Uber ride there. Near downtown but far enough so it was much more of a residential neighborhood. Close to the University which is great if you have kids there or wanting to tour campus. Could see families out for walks and students on the way to the University. The living room and dining area were perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. Very pleased. Would definitely stay again!

Jessica and Michael were wonderful hosts! Their property was quiet, extremely spacious, beautiful kitchen (but the restaurants around are so good we didn't cook). We would definitely stay with them again!.

Great view of the river, passing ships, and fantastic sunsets… which is what we were looking for in our few days up on the River. place was nice and cozy. wish we had more time to relax and enjoy. I’d return here again!

It was a great place to stay for our work travel. The place is situated in a quiet neighbourhood you have access to a private backyard. The inside has a lot of space and was very clean with nice decorations. Overall this place was above our expectations and was matching the description. We will go back in our next trip if available. The host were very polite and professional.

I always look forward to my stays at Erik and Lise Anne’s. they are always very gracious and helpful. Response time for issues is great. Donna, the co host, is magnificent and so kind. The kind of place that makes you feel like your home away from home. Will return many times!

It was a great place. We walked into a clean and cozy house. Beautiful beach area right on the river. Enjoyed a good meal at the Pointe down the road. We would stay again!

We were a masters xc ski team in for some races and the House and Host were amazing. The house was cozy; they had the fire going for our arrival and the kitchen was set up to cook for our large group. The host was very attentive to help us get to where we needed to go during the snow storm, digging us out every day. The house had a wonderful character about it and made us all feel comfortably at home. We will rent this place again for our next trip/race to the area.

The girls had a wonderful stay at the North Sky Retreat. Julie was very helpful and her house was just perfect for four people to stay, each with their own bedroom. The house was exceptionally well stocked with supplies, linen, towels and those extras you may need. Julie accommodated the dog that accompanied on this trip as well. The fresh eggs were a bonus and the free range chickens were fun to watch. The grounds were lovely and the walking path was a perfect was to take in the nature around the house. Hopefully this stay will become a tradition! Thank you!

A great stay! My partner, my dog, and I have been coming to The Lodge for 4 years now and it’s always a fantastic time. It is a perfect and cozy winter stay. We loving coming back to Golden Lake year after year for The Lodge but also because Cindy is such a wonderful host. She is very responsive with any questions or concerns. 10/10 would recommend :)

A bit of a drive but well worth the peace and quiet of this beautiful cabin in the woods! My friends and I spent our weekend kayaking, puzzling, and BBQing. Mike was so responsive and everything was very smooth. Would definitely come back!

JP is amazing and his wife too. Really had a nice time staying there. Place is very well maintained and organised. Clean bathroom, amazing shower head, all the kitchen appliances you need, laundry is also available, bedroom is cozy and comfortable. Parking is available too. Very friendly host, I would recommend this place to everyone!!

if your ever out in Carleton place they all say the Mississippi dripped off of Big Joe's face and also Scott has the best airbnb in the area! had a wonderful stay. went to Ottawa for the hockey playoffs and I had car trouble, Scott allowed me to use his truck since I had car trouble! absolutely above and beyond in all aspects. so generous and so thankful I stayed here. hot tub was so relaxing, and the loft style home is great for all -kids, guys, girls but is a gamers paradise especially if you grew up in the 80s and 90s! don't look further than Scotts place in Carleton place! I felt like family! 😆😊 incredibly thankful for Scott's generosity and I will be back anytime I'm out that way. This host and place shatters the 5 star scale just too bad we didn't win the game or would of been the perfect getaway. cheers Scott! you are the man!

Great private place that offers everything you want for a weekend getaway! Host was very helpful and responded within minutes to all our questions. Highly recommended!

This is a custom house with a very unique layout with direct riverfront access in a private neighbourhood. 5 beds (I believe 3 kings 2 queens), two dining areas, large kitchen and a centralized living space. Games room (pool, table tennis) above the double garage with parking for multiple vehicles (easily 5) on two separate driveways. Large sauna in the basement (it gets quite hot), and a very clean (and comfortable) hot tub on the first floor facing the river. We had a group of 7 and had no issues stretching out after a ski trip. Sound insulation of the house is excellent. Heated floors available in all the bathrooms and what appears to be most of the house. Two of the bedrooms did not have window shades. Dr. Brown was very accommodating with a later checkout time, and is very easy to talk to. This is a very unique airbnb experience.

We had a busy time with two family events and really enjoyed returning to the house to relax and enjoy your amazing back yard. It is truly a peaceful oasis! The children loved the pool and the adults all welcomed the evening hot tub. The flower gardens and pots are stunning. Thanks also for the lovely welcome gifts. We were very spoiled! Josseline was a great host, keeping me informed of snow clearing plans during a blizzard and offering assistance if required, without being in any way intrusive. Her AirBnB was lovely and bright, private and convenient. The entire place was clean and comfortable and is a perfect size for one or two to relax or work in.

Davids place was beautiful and made for an enjoyable stay for our group visit. He was responsive and provided all additional details both in our chats as well as leaving a small booklet in the cottage itself highlighting places of interest nearby. The firepit and the gazebo are the most impressive parts of the property. Wifi coverage inside the cottage was fantastic and was very useful for any further research since the cellular network coverage is spotty at best. Bon Echo is just about a 20 minute drive away and there are more places within a 1 hour radius though we chose to mostly have a leisurely time on the property itself. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, private fun time in the middle of nature.

Staying at Julia’s place was a great experience ! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described (if not better). The space was cozy, stylish, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Julia was an exceptional host—super responsive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure we had a great experience.

Beautiful, peaceful, scenic cottage. Cozy and modern inside with a great enclosed porch overlooking the lake. Ample options for sitting outside, and lots of blankets and towels provided. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful through the stay.

Such a wonderful spot to escape to in South Frontenac!! The location right on the water was peaceful, and the amenities made it great for spending quality time together. We loved having access to the kayaks and a great selection of board games. The house came fully stocked with everything needed in the kitchen – there were lots of extra supplies that were easy to find. The fire pit was also the perfect spot to make s’mores in the evenings. The host was incredibly responsive and friendly throughout our booking and stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!!

I was looking for a place near Gatineau Park, and Marc-Andres's place fit the bill and was a very comfortable place to spend a week.

Had a wonderful stay! Cottage was very well appointed, comfortable and clean. Grounds were beautiful, it was like being in your own mini private resort. Look out for an otter swimming back and forth in the lake-super cute! Alison was great to communicate with and made us feel very welcome. Loved it!

Thank you for a great night's stay in Almonte, Carmel. The home has so much character and charm. The new bathroom was a great treat. Even with the epic amount of snow in town, it was an easy check in and check out. We hope to visit again.
