The Oaks

The Oaks is attached to our home. It has its own private entrance from the outside and internal doors are locked. It is an ensuite room set out like a hotel room. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS OUR FAMILY HOME AND IS NOT SUITED FOR A ROMANTIC/ PASSIONATE NIGHT AWAY BUT FOR GUESTS WANTING A PEACEFUL GETAWAY.. Wooden stairs lead up to this first floor bedroom that has its own decked area with outside furniture to enjoy the fantastic views.

Hunwick is a small village with a traditional country pub. The Quarry tea room & deli serve excellent food . The village is 3 miles from Kynren & Bishop Auckland 20 mins drive to Durham and Darlington Were in a great location to explore the local area.

Bramble Cottage is a charming, two bedroom bolthole on a rural farm on the outskirts of Durham. This pretty little cottage is one of four and has been lovingly converted from the farm’s old barn. For those who want to holiday as part of a larger group we have Ivy Cottage and Cornmill Cottage next door which sleep 3 and 6 respectively.
