What a GEM of a find this place is! The heritage house is an authentic wooden kampong structure with wooden beams and high ceiling. Yet the interior were tastefully furnished and comfortable. The bedroom is very cozy and romantic with the best plush king mattress! It was like sleeping on a cloud. We love our alfresco bathroom and jacuzzi tub that came en-suite. On our last morning, we saw hornbills flying in the sky! On our last morning, a family of Dusky Leaf monkeys came visiting. They were feeding on fruit in the trees in the backyard. It was quite an experience to observe nature so close up. This place is not right in the heart of the tourist action, but it is not far from anything at all. The airport is just under 10-mins away during peak hour traffic - if that exists! The Chinese restaurant across the road was great and very reasonable. Don’t forget to check out the little roadside hut selling the best curry puff. We love the tranquility and the serenity of this little patch of paradise. A local living kampong atmosphere indeed! Patty and Jon were so helpful with suggestions and pre-arranging our activities for us, we didn’t have to lift a finger :) Did we mention you can see the sunrise and sunset from the jetty nearby?

Gahsri is an amazing host who'd do his utmost to ensure that you're stay is the best possible in a location as remote as this one. He waited for our 1- hour delayed flight and ensured we had a proper pick-up from the airport. He was personally at the jetty to take us to his private beach. He is the most proactive host I know who basically stayed right next to our bungalow. He left little to no need for any requests from us. While there are some party boats that come about in the evenings, some days, they leave before sunset and aren't really obnoxious most of the time. A swim in the sea with a landscape baked in the orange sunrise is the reason you go to Gahsri's private beach. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants time away from the urban vagaries of life.

Séjour parfait, la villa est spacieuse et très agréable. L’environnement est calme, la piscine sans vis à vis est vraiment le gros point fort. La literie et les draps sont vraiment super. Communication parfaite avec l’hôte. Proche de Pentai Cenang.

Wir suchten eine ruhige Ecke und dort haben wir es gefunden und genossen. Mit Roller haben wir alles erreicht wohin wir wollten. Trotz Ramadan-Zeit konnte wir immer an späteren Nachmittag einen kleinen Restaurant finden und sehr gut gegessen. Swee Peng Familie sind sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und zuverlässig... amazing.

She also gave us the best recommendations for hidden gems and local food spots that made our trip feel truly immersive. It was our best experience from all Malaezia. The place is souranded by forest, very quiet and peaceful. The garden is big and full of vegetation. It is so clean also inside and also outside in garden. The rooms are big, comfortable, providing also towels for pool. Pool is so clean and so refreshing. They are providing breakfast, every day different in order to taste different malaesian dishes. Also they are providing American breakfast. The host is amazing, all the time present and help us with advices what to visit also in Langkawi and also in Penang. The place is known all over the island. Highly recommend, you will have the best holiday ever.

Place looked exactly as in the photos, very spacious. The place is not too far from Chenang and other places of interest. But you need a form of transport (car) to get around. The place us perfect for group of friends or families.
