🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 If I could give it 100 stars, I would! This was hands down my best stay ever. The cottage is magical—quiet, spotless, and so cozy I instantly felt at home. The view? Absolutely breathtaking. You can see the lake from every room—even from bed! I slept like a queen in nature’s embrace. The area is perfect for peaceful walks and soul resets. Now, Megan—she’s the kind of host you wish every Airbnb had. So responsive, so proactive, I suspect she has superpowers. Every little request was handled faster than I could hit send. She made sure everything was perfect before I even had to ask. I felt so at home, I almost started forwarding my mail there. Confession: I debated not writing this review because I don’t want it to get booked solid… but they deserve all the love. If you’re lucky enough to stay here, treat it like the rare gem it is—and please, leave a few weekends open for me. 💛 P.S. I brought home memories, peace of mind, and about 237 lake view pics. Highly recommended.

The cottage is very homie and perfect for what we needed. The pictures don’t do it justice, it is a very gorgeous place and has great views. Would definitely come back!

Michal is an excellent host who responds quickly and is very accommodating. Our family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our time there. With pool table, foosball, hot tub, sauna and large yard, there was lots to do for everyone, young and old.

This modern cottage is a treasure on a quiet lake in the perfect location to still be able to get groceries but feel like you’ve escaped the city. We will definitely book again.

The host responds very promptly. However, disposing of trash is a bit inconvenient as it takes about 15 minutes round trip, and you need to pay $3 per trash bag. It’s recommended to dispose of the trash before checking out, not after. If you have a friend waiting in the parking lot while you take out the trash, they might rush you. Communication with the host was smooth and responses were quick. I wouldn’t recommend staying here in the winter as the heating isn’t great. It would be nice if each bed came with a comfortable duvet rather than just blankets. When the outdoor temperature is 7°C, the bedrooms can feel cold, but everything else was good.

We came to ski for 3 days at Calabogie during March break. The location and view were ideal--a minute to the ski hill (that you can see through the trees out the main window) and parking was free and easy at the hill. This allowed us to come back to have lunch at the chalet and then return to the slopes in the afternoon. The chalet has several high end features--heated floors in kitchen and bathroom, and an induction stove and fancy microwave. it was nicer than we expected. We struggled a bit to figure out how everything worked (probably us, though--we have low tech stuff at home). The designer fridge and countertops and overall aesthetics of the kitchen are beautiful. The chairs were maybe a bit big and awkward to move around for the tight space they were in--was hard to get around them. That was a minor inconvenience, though--overall the space was a delight to be in.

Charming, well constructed and insulated, spotless with a European vibe. Pictures don't do this justice! Super functional cottage, easy to access and amazing northern lights. Very responsive and helpful host. Would 100% come back.

Christie was a wonderful host, she was communicative and flexible. Christie's cottage was a beautiful space, surrounded in nature and made us feel right at home. I can't wait to book again!
