This place was beyond what we expected. Beautiful location with views and access to the water. One early morning we saw an osprey diving in the waters for fish and a pair of Cananda geese building a nest on the rock near shore. Next time we will bring kayaks. I could see most of our time would be spent exploring the bays and estuaries. Just make sure you know what you are doing as the Maine waters can present challenges depending on weather and tide. Wonderful conservation areas within few a minutes driving for walking-Plummers Point Preserve being one of those. House was immaculate with nicely finished wordwork and trim. comfortable bed with plenty of places to sit and read. A great place for a couple. Best AirBnB we ever stayed in. Thanks Dorothy.

Clean convenient one bedroom with a terrific view. Brand new kitchen and brand new appliances throughout, including a washer and dryer. The deepwater dock got daily use for kayaking, sitting, sunning, and dog swimming. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly near grocery shopping, a drug store, the Maine Coastal Botanical Gardens, and downtown Boothbay. Great walking and hiking in the many nearby nature preserves, and on Ocean Point. A lovely stay in a beautiful place. Thanks Nancy!

What an awesome place to stay! Lori was incredibly gracious and accommodating with out late arrival. The cabin towards the back of the property was so cozy. Fantastic stay and would definitely recommend!

This spot is perfect if you want to stay anywhere from one day to one week. It's clean, it's quiet, the kitchen is small but usable, has a washer and dryer, the bed is super comfy, the house is quiet, there's not a lot to do around, but you're in Maine, so it's a rural. I just stayed here while I was looking for a place to stay permanently. It's no frills, it feels like a little apartment, so go ahead and book it.

Beautifully rustic, quiet and charming! We booked Penny’s place because we were looking for a rustic stay. The weather in September was ideal for this indoor/outdoor space. Fully stocked kitchen, and loads of space for dining and relaxing. We lucked out and didn’t have anyone else staying on property while we were, and I will say it’s a bit of a fishbowl, so if you’re looking for privacy, it’s not here. We had a superb time!

The Ticket office was a nice little getaway. It was clean, beautifully decorated, quiet and cozy. It was just what we needed for a fall getaway. Sasha was a great host and we really enjoyed the complementary treats and signed card to welcomes us to the ticket office. Would definately stay again!!!!

Adam was incredibly welcoming and respectful of our stay/privacy, while also being very responsive to any questions and local recommendations we had. My girlfriend and I had an amazing time at the Midcoast Forest Retreat. Everything we needed and beautiful scenery. Peaceful and quiet, a great place to spend some quality time together and relax. Very close to the town center with lots of shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again!

Brittney's place was spectacular. It's out on a quiet island just outside of Boothbay Harbor. Such a relaxing area. We were attending a wedding at the Newagen Inn, so this is a perfect location for that. The coastal decoration is perfect and very welcoming. Everything we needed (and more!) were at the house - towels, a fully stocked kitchen, lots of seating. One good thing to know is there is another dwelling directly in front of the property, which I hadn't been aware of before, but was not bothersome. You can still feel like you are on your own when in the house, though. I would definitely rent here again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Acorn house. Pictures were exact what the space looked like. Very clean, no clutter. The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. It would have been absolutely perfect for us if it had a private outdoor seating area. There are a couple of chairs with a pull out awning on the front of the house, however there’s also 4 hour parking for anyone. So to sit out front our view would’ve been of the cars parked right in front of us. Wasn’t that big of a deal for us because we didn’t plan on hanging at the house. We were there to sight see. All in all beautifully decorated, very clean! Would definitely recommend.
