Our place is close to everything! NOTE- Our home will sleep two adults and two children comfortably, but NOT 4 adults. A 5-10 minute drive to just about anything in town. Newbo District and downtown are 5 min by car and 15 min on a bike. The bike path is 1/2 mile from the house and easily accessible. You will enjoy the quiet wooded location of this completely renovated "cozy" 500 Sq. Ft. one bedroom cottage. There is a fire pit and wood for a nice relaxing night, if you choose to stay in.

There is a separate road leading back to the barn for super convenient parking. It’s rustic, cozy, warm and inviting.

A historical building remodeled as a pretty little honeymoon or bridal suite, the space is suitable for bridal parties, honeymooning, or girls' getaways. The suite sleeps 7-8 guests, includes a full kitchen and a romantic jacuzzi jet tub. You’ll love walking to the local coffee shop for a homemade pastry or staying in our dreamy retreat sipping an espresso.

Welcome! Come explore the wonderful area of Mount Vernon, Iowa. We are within walking distance to Main Street, its shops and eateries, Bijou Movie Theater, and Cornell College! Both Iowa City and Cedar Rapids are a short drive away. You will be close to everything when you stay at our centrally-located home! There is a $15 fee per night per person for 6th and 7th guest. 7 guests max.
