Dan y Coed means 'under the trees'. Our cottage has nestled under the wooded hillside of Tan yr Allt for 200 years. The cottage is on the outskirts of Llanidloes, a 10 minute walk to town. We pride ourselves on guest satisfaction and the cottage is equipped to a high standard. We welcome all people and well behaved pets (downstairs). You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the peacefulness of been able to have the freedom to walk and explore our hills of mid wales, straight from your door..and only 45 mins to visit the seaside of Aberystwth.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets).

The chalet is located on the same site as the main house and has stunning views out across the Banwy valley. It is centrally located within easy reach of Dolgellau, Machynlleth and Welshpool where guests can participate in a wide range of activities from hillwalking to mountain biking. We are dog friendly but do have dogs on site so only friendly, well behaved ones please.
