This is the most beautiful and peaceful place we have stayed at. If you want off the grid- this is the place. Stunning views, friendly hosts and the site has all you need. If you did want to venture out, there is plenty to visit and do. This place has been put in my top 3 places of all places.

We have stayed in 63 Air Bnbs and I must say that Deborah’s is the most luxurious. The interior decor would do well in a magazine. From the plush cushions on the super comfortable sofa, to the beautiful lamps, pictures, vases, and ornaments. We loved all the nods to Scottish culture. The kitchen was well appointed and the dinnerware stunning. The master bedroom was sumptuous. Stunning decor, linen and beautiful styling. The bed was super comfy too. The bathroom is magnificent with shower and jacuzzi bath and so many extra touches. Thank you Deborah for all the hard work you have put into making us feel like royalty! Also for the sandwiches, cake, milk, chips, chocolates. You certainly deserve nothing under 5 stars, and we would give you 10 if we could.

Super convenient little place in the heart of Gatehouse of Fleet. The property was well presented and absolutely spotless. A parking space conveniently right outside the property. My stay was quite short and I didn't need to cook or use the kitchen, but it was well equipped and clean. A complimentary bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch, even if I didn't manage to drink it! There were no problems at all with check-in and Julie left clear instructions. I will definitely rent again if available when I next stay in Gatehouse!

The place was great,spotless,peaceful and had great tv. the bed was so comfy,room spotless. the only thing I would say is need a wee lamp in bedroom. all the house was amazingly clean and fresh. Nice touch to have tea and coffee with milk there for us. Sher was easy to contact and replied quickly. would make a great base to travel from. we will return. thanks Sher

Such a lovely place to stay in a beautiful quiet village. The flat had everything we needed & we felt at home straightaway, good WiFi. Julie was a friendly host who met us & walked us over to the flat when we arrived, showing us around. I would definitely stay here again, it was perfect!

Joanna made my booking and stay stress free and surprised us with a lovely thoughtful welcome gift. The caravan was immaculate and spacious for us to have a relaxing few days celebrating family.

I rented Paul's accommodation for 7 weeks in total and it was lovely, clean and very handy for our tour during their rehearsal period. I shall definitely book again for more rehearsals in Jan/Feb/March 2025. Paul was also very responsive if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this house.

We had a fantastic few days away in this house. there was plenty of space for two families of four and a dog. The enclosed garden and garden furniture were a great addition, especially as the weather was lovely while we were there. Would definitely book again in the future.

Highly recommend the property. Very well presented throughout and had a beautiful private garden with seating area. The house is well equipped with everything that you could need. Within walking distance of the town and only a few minutes walk from a great restaurant

Beautiful house with so much character. The location was so peaceful yet close to Dumfries where we were easily able to get take-out for dinner. We only stayed one night as a stopover on our way home but we found the house to be comfortable and well-equipped. The milk and water in the fridge plus all the seasonings/spices in the kitchen were such a nice surprise that we don't often find in AirBnBs, as were the very nice bathroom amenities. The only thing I'd mention - our daughter had us up at 5:30 am because there are only curtains, no blinds/shutters, in the bedrooms and, although the curtains are thick, it was still very bright in the bedrooms as soon as the sun started rising, which is very early at this time of year. Just keep this in mind if you're coming with young kids who are light sleepers!

We had a very relaxing short break at the cottage. Everything had been provided for an extremely comfortable stay. The cottage is very well equipped, even down to the holiday dog tag for Archie to wear during his stay! We loved the garden, the sunroom and sitting out on the private patio. Melissa is a great host and you can tell a lot of effort has been put into making her guests stay very memorable.

Me and my husband stayed here for our 4th wedding anniversary with our 14 month old daughter and our dog. Cleugh Cottage's beautiful charm made it one we will remember. From checking in and finding a bottle of Prosecco await us to spending the evenings in the hot tub looking over the river it was just so special! Martyn was a great host and has clearly put a lot of love into this property. We hope to return again.

A great accommodation for a family get together! Spacious, clean, so much storage space and an ideal location for a walk into town. The darts board was a hit and the views from the hot tub and top windows were beautiful. Wouldn’t hesitate to book here again. Thank you!

Adrian and Stefania's annexe was perfect for us to get away into Cumbria. It is a great location, peaceful and a really beautifully established property. Alot of thought and care has gone into creating a lovely calm place for guests to stay. Adrian and Stefania made us feel very welcome and were readily available to help with anything we might have wanted - though they had thought of everything. The little touches always make you feel welcome- from the greeting goodies to a warm freshly baked croissant breakfast on departure morning. Thank you for sharing your wonderful space with us. The Studio is a boost for the soul. So relaxing, comfortable, cosy. Incredible views. Great location. Me and 2 dogs felt so welcomed and at home. Everything was all I could have wished for. The furnishings lend themselves to feeling at peace. So many lovely touches and welcome gifts. It was beyond my expectations. Janice is super helpful and friendly, loved our chats. The secure roof terrace was a great boon for me with 2dogs. I’ll recommend to all my friends and I’ll definitely return. Maybe not spread the word too much, I want to make sure I can get a booking! James was very attentive and friendly. When we had a problem he arrived within minutes. The flat was spacious and had recently been modernised with new kitchen and bathroom. We chose this accommodation as we were at the Jazz Festival and were only a few minutes away from the venues and the town centre. Have no reservations in recommending this accommodation

Fantastic property in a peaceful area of Portinscale ,easy walking distance into Keswick,the designated parking place was an added bonus. I’m a single traveller with no dogs,the apartment had no smell of dogs,no dog hairs and was spotlessly clean. The shower cubicle was a good size ,the shower was easy to operate either rainfall or normal shower head with great water pressure. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need to either make yourself a snack or to cook yourself a meal. The bed linen and towels were lovely and fresh and the bed was lovely and comfortable, overall the apartment was home from home. Did a number of walks on Saturday and Sunday,Derwent circular walk,Cat Bells and Latrigg,will definitely be returning to attempt Scafell and Skiddaw. Overall I would highly recommend this apartment

The property had everything we needed and more. Tracy has thought of everything. We were grateful for the welcome pack which included a lovely bottle of wine and tea, coffee, toiletries etc were provided. The beds were comfy and the apartment and was warm, cosy, modern and clean - exactly as described. Tracy is a great host and provided clear instructions for our stay.

Fantastic stay at the property. Easy to find, so central to the town. James was on hand quickly to answer any questions. Especially as this was booked only 2 hours before check in. Perfect for a small family or couple to get the homely feeling of space and relaxation rather than a hotel stay. WiFi was good. Everything was spotlessly clean I would recommend without hesitation and since I have family in the are I would love to use again and have already recommended to other relatives who are visiting.

Beautiful apparent with lots of things to do aroud. Very clean and organised and a very friendly hoast. Spacious bathroom, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Overall a beautiful weekend away.
