The rooms were really quiet and the location was absolutely beautiful. Jennifer was a friendly and accommodating host. The nicest place I have stayed in Lynchburg!

It was really great for our family to get away for a few days over Thanksgiving! The property is beautiful and peaceful, and the suite was cozy. Overall we enjoyed the flexibility of having a few different rooms, being able to cook (as much as we needed/wanted to), and the fact that the earth room doesn't have windows allowed us to sleep in late. As far as amenities, the tub pretty amazing. I also really enjoyed peeking at some of the crafting books on the bookshelves - the cowgirl room in particular has a workshop feel that I enjoyed! Really grateful we were able to go on this trip - thank you!

This was a perfect location for our extended family visit. Close to University of Lynchburg. Apartment was perfect size for our extended family. Breakfast was delicious. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

It’s a days inn so it was exactly what I expected. Perfect place to stay if traveling or visiting the area. They were easy to communicate with. Also very flexible on checking. Would stay again.

We love Peggy’s place. The view is wonderful, and everything well apportioned. This is our second stay and would gladly visit again.

The place was well kept and clean. Almost brand new! Just be aware that you will have to drive to most of the amenities. Also you will have to pay a $20 per person fee for the use of the amenities and that wasn’t mentioned prior to renting. We went to Bottles and Bites on a Saturday night and it was great!

Every year we make it to SML for an event that would take place at Mariners Landing. A few years ago, they moved the event to a public park and we tried other local hotels. After several bad experiences, we found our way back to Mariner's landing. This room and the host were incredible! The area was incredibly peaceful and so lovely. Absolutely worth every penny! I wish we could have planned to stay longer. Certainly, next year we will!

We really enjoyed our visit. Was able to relax and refresh our batteries. The amenities, walking paths, and view made all aspects of our trip worth the expense.

Place was amazing, easy to find and very peaceful. unfortunately the wifi password listed was incorrect and we were so busy we didn't have a chance to ask for an updated one. The refrigerator was also not working and didn't keep our food cold/frozen. Overall, a wonderful trip! I believe if we were less busy and asked Cathy about both wifi/fridge she would have solved those issues for us. We only stayed 2 nights so these were minor things!

Mick’s place was the perfect spot for a long weekend with my son! Everything was clean and tidy, the decor was lovely and the directions were all very straightforward. The view of the lake from the porch swing was beautiful, we spent a lot of the time parked right there. It was very peaceful even on a holiday weekend. All of the amenities of Bernard’s Landing were great for entertaining a 9 year old as well. We visited the indoor pool and the beach and enjoyed the restaurant. We were a little disappointed to find that the outdoor pools weren’t open yet as it was in the 80’s, but it wasn’t a big deal. Thanks for sharing your space with us!

I booked place the morning of my stay. I was in a pinch, and Ronnie responded immediately with all the necessary information. She was an excellent communicator. The place was clean and met our needs. The complex at Mariners Landing is beautiful with very nice amenities.

We had a great time. Beautiful location, great views and very comfortable and clean condo. Quiet. Easy parking and walkable surroundings. Jamie was friendly and very helpful. We would definitely recommend it!

My family and I had such a great time at this comfy little condo! It was very comfortable and we had close access to a lot of amenities here (we tried kayaking and pickleball). It was next to plenty of golf fields as well (for those who love golf). The hostess was extremely responsive as well and helped us when we had difficultly getting into the condo. Highly recommend staying here if you want a cute little place to relax in with the benefits of multiple amenities!

We had a wonderful stay! Plenty of room for our group of 7. We were in town for a wedding weekend and everything was close and convenient! Perfect for morning walks and a quick drive or Uber to Downtown and UVA. Well stocked and very comfortable!

This was a wonderful place to stay at during our trip to Lynchburg. It was extremely clean and looked just like the photos. The area was peaceful, well kept, and safe. When we arrived there was a cute welcome basket filled with snacks. Also, we appreciated the many streaming services ready to be used on the tv! There is a drive-thru coffee shop (Joe Beans) that is a very close drive—great drinks and baked goods! I would highly recommend this place and felt the host was eager to provide a great stay.

You know when you read the reviews and they say "exceeded expectations" so you're expectations are really high? Well, this was one of those homes and somehow it still exceeded our expectations! It was bigger, homier and comfier than we expected. The well furnished kitchen had everything we needed to make dinners at home. Great layout to play family games while watching the World Series. All of the beds were comfortable and it was the perfect placec to come home to after a long day. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Charlottesville, this is it!! Thanks for everything - we'll be back!

Beautiful house on the lake. The golf cart provided made was super helpful to get down to the lake! We would stay again.

Logan was a very responsive host. We enjoyed the home very much. The kids loved the arcade games, the back patio, and the big bubble bath on the main level which was very accessible for kids next to the bunk beds room they loved. We had a great family thanksgiving in the beautiful dinning room. Would highly recommended this home for anyone visiting Liberty University or Lynchburg Virginia for family trip. Great location and we loved watching the red cardinals through the big windows in the kitchen/ breakfast nook.

Josh was a great host who communicated quickly after the property was booked and leading up to our stay. He also checked in with us while we were there to make sure all was good. The house was beautiful with a great open concept family room/kitchen that provided a perfect space to hang out with family and friends. The house was conveniently well stocked with all basic needs and was right across the street from a community center with a gym and sizable indoor pool. Overall a great stay and would happily return for a future getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at Ashwood. We chose this spot as a halfway point on our way to a family reunion. So glad we did. This is a beautiful, peaceful area. I can only imagine how much more beautiful it is in late spring or in the fall.
