This house was perfect for our girls trip to the Highlands. It is so close to downtown but felt tucked away. The house was gorgeous and perfect for our group of 7. We will certainly be back!

Our family had a fantastic trip, and Phillip was extremely proactive with communication and great recommendations for restaurants and fun activities nearby. The house had everything we were looking for and is very comfortable and inviting. They also stocked the kitchen with basic items you usually have to remember to bring…including a full variety of spices, oil, coffee, etc. The property itself is where this rental really shines! Beautiful view of Lake Glenville and the house is nestled in a peaceful cove with an impressive waterfall just across the way. There are several outdoor seating areas that make it PERFECT for whatever you’re looking to do. For those wanting to really get away to a quiet retreat, look no further! We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely wonderful! It was just my husband and I, but this place would be awesome for families or several couples. Lots of room, fun games, well stocked. The views are incredible - so peaceful and relaxing while staring at the mountains and the lake. Highly recommend!

The place is even nicer than the pictures. It's a beautiful retreat in the woods with lots of natural light. There are plenty of places inside and out to enjoy being alone or gathering with family and friends. It's kept very clean, well stocked with everything you need to cook and lots of linens and towels. The multiple fans and a/c make it comfortable on hot days. The walk down to the fire pit or the man cave by the creek is steep, but not difficult. You can drive up and down easily as well. It's only a few minutes from so many things to do. But if you sit on the screened in porch and watch the hawks and the cows grazing across the road, It's hard to want to leave. It's perfect for couples wanting privacy or families with children that need plenty of space to play in. What a true gem!

I have never stayed at a more well stocked rental. If you forgot anything, no worries, she probably has it in the house! Joan left some very thoughtful, personal touches like having the heated blanket turned on for me when I arrived, a bowl of treats, etc. My favorite part is a tie between the gorgeous claw foot soaking tub which I used every night, and the beautiful view of the mountains from a large picture window. The location was really beautiful, and had a grocery store and multiple gas stations within a few miles of the house. The only thing that kept it from being perfect, was the spotty wifi, which is understandable in the mountains, but all the lighting was hooked to Google, so Google either didn't understand, or the wifi kept failing for the commands. It just seemed it took 5x as long to turn on a lamp, than simply turning the switch. I ended up unhooking the one in the bedroom during my stay. I would highly recommend this rental, and Joan is an amazing host.

Very peaceful and secluded, cozy cabin with beautiful views! It has everything you would need to spend time with your family and friends. Diana provides pretty detailed instructions how to get there - just follow them, look for the signs with a street name, and you’ll get there. I would recommend going there in 4x4 with a descent clearance. Another Airbnb gem in my favorites!

We had the loveliest girls weekend in Highlands NC. Lei's place was a great mountain house, very close to town and in a quiet setting. It was easy to find and easy to access. Immaculate and very pretty decor. We did not walk to town, but it's a quick 2 minute drive. Everyone was very comfortable, and the house had everything we needed. We would love to come back for another stay.

Location and view were amazing. Check in was as simple as entering the door code. Melissa was available to fix any issues, but there were not any. Comfortable bedrooms and living area. Kitchen stocked with anything you might need. Bathrooms were very small but had no issues in terms of cleanliness or function. The internet speeds struggled at times but that is understandable in the mountains. Needed a place to stay while working in the area for the week and it was exactly what I needed.

Holly was extremely responsive and helpful. The cottage was much cuter and cozier than the photos depict. It was very quiet and tucked away in the beautiful NC mountains. The parking spot is a little short, but our minivan did fit. The road to the cottage is dirt and could be a little challenging for a small low riding vehicle. We did not have problems. We love the country so we took these things in stride. She had many small additions that made arrival and the stay special like caramels, tea, and coffee choices. You could tell by these additions and her exemplary communication that she wanted our stay top notch! We would highly recommend this cottage.

Belinda and Ben were great host! The home met our needs as we were waiting to close on our home. The space worked well for my husband who was working remotely and also for the visiting grand kids. The home is simple bbut had everything we needed.

Our second stay at Debi's beautiful b&b was great! We're grateful for her and her space, sharing the nature and peace with us. Can't wait to return for a third time :)

This was such a great place to stay! It was cozy, quiet and felt so peaceful! It was amazing! They had the lights on and make us feel right at home. It was great getting greeted by Beans. He made us laugh so hard this morning when he tried to steal from us. We had a great stay and hope to be welcomed back again!

Great place nestled away from the hustle and bustle but minutes away from several towns!

We had an amazing time! The house was so well equipped- including items for little ones and dogs! We were excited to have snow and enjoyed sledding down the hill in the side yard. The fire pit was great too!! Andy went so far as to purchase an air fryer when we asked if the house had one. He went above and beyond!! We will definitely be back!!

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay! Our stay at the cabin was so peaceful and we loved relaxing on the porch! We walked around the property and saw some turkeys! I love how secluded it was! It was the perfect place to relax and unwind and being able to have our 2 dogs with us was a plus! We hope to stay again in the future! Thank you!!!

We loved our stay at the Caretaker Cabin. The Harry Potter themed accents were incredible. Shannon was a wonderful host. She was proactive, responsive, helpful, accommodating, enthusiastic and friendly. My kids enjoyed meeting and feeding the animals. Lots to see and do in the nearby areas including hiking and horseback riding among others.

We had an amazing stay at Jennifer’s cabin. It was a beautiful secluded mountain stay but close to Bryson City’s breweries, restaurants, and the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. Spent our days mostly on the trails, but the game room is well equipped if you encounter any rainy days or just want to stay close to home. Would definitely recommend!

The views are amazing! The deck was my favorite place to relax. My family and I enjoyed this cabin so much. It is beautiful and comfortable too. Kitchen has everything you need. Beds were super comfortable and nice linens. Loved the games, puzzles and cards. The cabin is close enough to be in Franklin shops or restaurants within a few minutes, yet is so quiet and private. We visited in winter and would love to return in the summer.
