Ferienunterkünfte in Macrohon

We had an amazing 2-night-stay. Loi and his family and staff were very kind and helpful. Limasawa is a beautiful island to discover, especially the Limasawa sanctuary. One of the best snorkeling spots for marine sea life and corals we've seen on the Philippines. Loi organized a private boat tour the sanctuary. The restaurant pink apple just next door served us very delicious vegetarian food. Thank you very much, greetings from Germany.

Het is misschien iets moeilijker om op deze locatie te komen. Maar de eigenaren maken het meer dan waard! De eigenaren zijn zo ontzettend lief. Ze hebben ons opgevangen ‘s avonds laat en toen zijn ze nog mee naar het ziekenhuis gegaan. Ze hebben op ons gewacht bij het ziekenhuis en ons daarna naar het verblijf gebracht. We werden echt behandeld als familie. De dag daarna hebben ze ons verse ‘super’ bananen en kokosnoten gegeven uit eigen tuin. Ook hebben ze ons gebracht en gehaald naar de whaleshark tour dat 30 min verderop was. Bij terugkomst hebben ze ons nog getrakteerd op een lokale delicatesse, kokossnippers met suiker. Wij hebben eerder in onze reis de vriendelijkheid van de Filipijnse bevolking al ervaren maar dit was echt buiten gewoon. We willen de eigenaren nogmaals bedanken!

One of the best staycation you can find in Southern Leyte! The exact kind of place I'm looking for, away from the city buzz, all you hear is the splash of the sea waves, the calmness and peacefulness of the night. This is a well recommended place, also they have a good staff whom can help you with almost everything, from food to anything you need.

I absolutely loved my stay here. Good communication before arrival. 30min walk from padre burgos but only 10pesos for a few minutes tuktuk. 5min walk to get to the resorts who does whale shark tours. Its a big and cosy place, living room, kitchen, really comfi bed. The coffee water at your disposition. AC works well and isnt noisy. The place was immaculate. Little place to seat and relax outside. It felt like home.

Last year I stayed for a couple weeks, this year we stayed for close to 2 months. It is a great place, and I really love getting treated like family. it's close to everything we need and there's a great little restaurant quarter of a mile away within an easy walk. they go out of their way and I recommend it nobody complains when we have the kids and the family visiting every night for dinner it's just a great place with great people

The place was superb! Perfect for celebrating my child’s first birthday. We really had a wonderful stay at Athena’s and we feel very welcome. Though the host was not present during our stay, his staff/relative were proactive in attending our needs. They even offered to babysit my child for a while since i was decorating. The only problem we had was locating the place. I suggest that the host will put a “directional signage” in order to help the guests to get where they’re going. Especially that the place has no network signal, you cannot further ask the host for help. But overall, we really had a blast! Kudos to the host 🥂
