This was the perfect place for our vacation with four generations! there was a main floor bedroom and bathroom for the grandparents and separate bedrooms for everyone upstairs. There was lots of room to spread out. We were very comfortable. The long table in the dining room was a nice gathering place. We loved walking around town and visiting the shops and cafe! The Silver Lake sand dunes were amazing and just 15 minutes away! We would love to come back again!

We had a great stay! Family live in the area, so it was nice to have them come over and visit. There was a lot of seating available with the living room arrangement and the dining table (seats 6). It wasn't much of an issue for us, but if you're staying with friends, you should be aware that the bedroom with the three beds is separated from one bathroom by a curtain. Great location with short walk to House of Flavors, downtown, the beach, and the waterfront park area.

Great place to stay for larger groups. wasn't riding this trip but trails are right there.

We could not have asked for a better location and accommodations for 4 adults and 2 children on our first family vacation. The house is located just off the road on a peaceful and quiet very large lot. The bedding was so comfortable making for very restful nights. We had easy access to multiple beaches, restaurants playgrounds and wineries. When we chose to buy local fish and cook at home we found the kitchen well apportioned and stocked. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this little piece of heaven in Leland. PS: we enjoyed our daily visit with her chickens and she was generous to share the most delicious eggs. We were spoiled by everything this place has to offer.

Everything was exactly as described, easy to find with clear instructions to get in, and perfectly dog friendly! Flat sheets were even provided to cover the furniture for our pup so all of us felt right at home. The fenced in backyard and where the hot tub was placed were the best part for us. Our dog was able to zoom around while we relaxed in the hot tub. The motion sensored lights allowed us to always see where she was and we felt safe knowing the property was securely fenced in for her to enjoy. We will definitely be back. Thank you Amanda!

We loved our stay at "the cabin!" Lots of room and personalized space for those who wanted it. Good bathroom space and really appreciated the laundry and kitchen areas.

Host was very responsive to questions/needs as they came up. Was very accurate with description on property. Definitely would consider staying here again.

Really nice place. Internet download speeds and connection were fine for me. The upload speed was low. I was able to get 2 bars and get around 1.5 mbps upload from placing my phone on top of my vehicle and doing a hot spot. The host was great. I liked the laundry. Pool was closed. Store was closed. Bounce bag open for fun bouncing. But I didn’t do it. Showers clean. Overall. Highly recommended.

Franks place was exactly what I was looking for. Close to family nearby, space for my kids to run, and a house that felt like home. Couldnt recommend it enough! We did not end up using many amenities he had to offer, but they were readily available to us if we wanted. Will look foward to staying again in the future.

Autumns place was great! We stayed as a group of 4 adults and each had our own space. There are lots of stairs but we enjoyed the separate living spaces for each of us. Everything was clean, beds were all comfortable and great pillows. Two balconies made sunrise and sunset both gorgeous with the fall trees. We will be back!

Great experience. A lot of deer, squirrels, and nature to take in. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility. Great responses to any questions. Would love to visit again.

My 4 kids, husband and I have been coming to Shanty creek resorts for over 10 years. This is the first time we stayed somewhere other than the resort hotels. We enjoyed we were able to bring our dog on this trip, we had a kitchenette, and we did more in the area because we had to drive ourselves. This gave us a chance to explore and save more money. By staying in a place more reasonable than the hotel and we were able to cook ourselves and didn't have the added expense of a dog sitter. 4girls sharing one bathroom worked out better than I thought. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you The Ramsey family

Cute studio Condo that was perfect for 2 people and our dog Teddy. Close walk to marina and 5th Avenue beach. With windows open could hear Lake Michigan waves along with a cool beach breeze. Close to downtown restaurants and activities. Condo had cute beach themed decor and was stocked with everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

My family and I enjoyed our stay! The location was wonderful and the house was very clean. The owner went above and beyond when I mentioned I couldn't find charcoal for the grill. They surprised us by dropping it off that day. What caring hosts! I was very impressed! They also had PLENTY of supplies for us (toilet paper, paper plates, detergent, hand soap, kleenex...etc) This isn't always the case with rental properties. My kids and I enjoyed the welcome snacks. They were fun surprises. The only thing I would mention is the shower is very small (as described in the property). I had a tough time shaving and brushing my hair in there. There is also no disposal or dishwasher. These were not listed in the amenities so this is no fault of the owner. It's just something I didn't think to look for in the property description. I will know to watch for it in the future.

We loved this get away spot. We are familiar with the area and this is very well located to get to area restaurants and other points of interest. Quiet and peaceful. Beautiful views. We will be back!!

Had a great stay at Cory's. Very private and quiet area but close to a great coffee shop, brewery, restaurant, and ice cream shop in Lake Ann. The "water closets" were unique, but they were needed so we didn't all have to fight for the main bath room and shower, which are dated but work fine. There was plenty of space for 5 of us and a dog. Cory was sure to have the box fan and screen in the 3rd bedroom for us which we definitely needed with no air-conditioning in the bedrooms. We would stay here again.

The house was in a great location, walkable to Suttons bay but out of the mix as well. We loved the private beach and views from the living room. Communication with fast and easy. Worth it to note that there is only one AC. They did have a bunch of large fans, we just hit a hot week there sleeping wise.

A peaceful place to stay. Very quiet. Great place to recharge.

This property is beautiful! The grounds were tidy & the lake is so peaceful. The cabin is cozy, well-stocked with all you need, the decorations and furnishing are very nice. We had a lovely time relaxing.
