Jen is a fantastic host. The place is wonderful, plenty full of things around if you forget something she has you covered with most essentials. The only thing that could of went better for us is the weather. It rained hard the whole time we stayed but we still had a wonderful time, this place works for bad weather and staying indoors. The final day was sunny when loading up to leave, we caught a big Bluegill before leaving . She is planning on putting in a dock and that will make this place much better even know it's already perfect. Thanks for sharing your home and we will return soon. We had a great time!

The perfect relaxing cabin. A short drive from gorgeous wineries and a quick walk to a beautiful hiking trail where we found over 12 mushroom species. Highly recommend this host!

We had a great time & really enjoyed the cabin! The place is very nice, well kept, & super peaceful. Of course the best part was the hot tub. It was very clean, easy to use, & very relaxing! We will be back!

What a beautiful cabin close to the Shawnee National forest and numerous other states parks and wilderness areas. We had everything we needed and more. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with appliances and utensils, and the hot tub clean and spacious and oh so relaxing. The outdoor space is pristine, comfortable, and a great place to gather. We'll worth the trip!

Phillip was a great host, the cabin was perfect for my wife and to really enjoy a peaceful stay. He was very responsive and friendly. Great location! Great Host! Great Cabin. My wife and I will definitely be back to enjoy the beautiful and peaceful location again.

Our group of long time friends had a great time there. The house is great and had lots of amenities. Very roomy and had one of the best stocked kitchens I’ve seen for a rental. We enjoyed the game room, fire pit and large deck. We would definitely rent there again! The host is quick to respond to any questions we had.

Shawnee Forest Cabins were a great place to stay after hiking the area all day. The cabin was cozy, easy to find, and very clean upon our arrival. The hosts were very friendly and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. If you utilize the hot tub, make sure you look up and appreciate all the stars!!!

I absolutely LOVED my stay here. The host were extremely helpful we had a bit of a hiccup with my account being hacked and we were able to work right through it together. The area was so beautiful and just 20 minutes away there is a nice little city that is easily accessible full of restaurants, grocery stores and anything else you may need. Not only that but the hiking trails near by are incredible almost reminded me of being home in Colorado. The only thing I wish is that I stayed longer! I will be back for a much longer stay.

Jordan has a great place to sit back and relax. It has everything you need. We will be looking forward to our next stay here.

Quaint little cabin in a very quiet area, but close to Carbondale IL. Place was very clean, easy to find and exactly as described. Great place for price! Would definitely stay again.

Home was exactly as as described. We loved sitting on the front porch, enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. Definitely will stay here again.

The house is exactly the way its described and more! I'm actually at a loss for words! I can't describe what an amazing location, cabin and host we had for our stay. Very clean and comfortable! It was our first rental and our host Nikki was more helpful than anyone could ask for! It's close to some great lakes, trails and only a few minutes from anything you might need during your stay. And don't feel bad if you drive by the driveway your first time by. lol

The cabin was nestled in a perfect location to be secluded in a peaceful paradise, while also providing a short drive access the trailheads to different Shawnee national forest trailheads. This cabin was by the far most homey Airbnb I have ever stayed in, the kitchen had EVERYTHING you could possibly need, the sunroom was perfect for watching the birds and the rain. There were tons of extra blankets, pillows, and towels. The space has lots of parking and very clear labels on the main roads so you can find the cabin.

I REALLY ENJOYED THIS PROPERTY. IT IS IN A GREAT AREA AND I LOVED THE UNIQUENESS OF THE BUILDING. LARRY WAS AWESOME.

We enjoyed the beautiful wide porch with lots of bird sitings and the small lake with lots of turtles sunning themselves. Very peaceful!

We had a great time at the house. It was beautiful and clean and had all that we required . Its location is perfect , a walk h distance to the castle park which the younger kids loved and a short drive to giant city park and into town . Thanks for a great stay !

Super stylish, everything was new, nice touches, super comfy bed! Within 5-10 minutes of Rend Lake!

I’ve stayed at this place numerous times and it’s always one of the highlights of my trip. It’s close to the lake that I fish and the huge garage allows me to park my boat and truck inside without unhooking. The furnishings are great and it’s close to most everything. Mercedes is great and is very responsive. Looking forward to my next stay🙂

What a great place to stay to get away from the city and relax! What a surprise to get to see a new baby goat only 4 days old! Will definitely come back and stay again.

The host Jared was more than amazing. We got there a little early while he was cutting the grass and meet him later when he was feeding the cows. His property is so beautiful! My kiddos had the most amazing time there they will never forget. This night was also when bad tornadoes were coming through and he sat on the porch watching the storms once I messaged him me and my best friend were nervous since we had all the children alone with us. We have never meet a human that made us feel more safe with us being away from home. That is something I will never forget and am truly blessed to have found. We will be back! Thank you again for everything!
