Ferienunterkünfte direkt am Strand in Matala beach

Très beau logement, très belle vue. Avec 2 grand balcon, la plage était accessible facilement à pied. On aurait aimé rester plus longtemps. Je recommande fortement.

la maison est très jolie et confortable, il y a tout de proximité ( restaurant-bar... ecc ...) la hôte Niki très gentille et chaleureuse, une des meilleures expérience airbnb, sûrement à répéter.

The host was incredibly polite and hospitable throughout our stay. The apartments are conveniently located, with easy access to local restaurants and taverns. On one occasion, we encountered an issue with the tap, but the host promptly resolved it without any additional charges. Their excellent English skills and helpful resources were greatly appreciated. I wholeheartedly recommend this host and their apartments. You're sure to have a fantastic time during your stay.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft. Vor allem in der Vorsaison ruhig. Grosser Aussenplatz für die eigene Nutzung und Kaffeetrinken direkt am Meer😊. Der Innenbereich grosszügig, so dass man sich auch bei kühleren Temperaturen drinnen wohl fühlen kann. Kommunikation super, schnell und sehr freundlich. Danke Nikos! Auch für das Willkommens - Geschenk (Früchte, Wasser und Olivenöl)

Wir waren im Herbst eine Woche mit unseren drei Kindern in Frangokastello. Wir wurden von den Gastgebern sehr herzlich empfangen und haben sogar verschiedene regionale Lebensmittel geschenkt bekommen, darunter Feta, Gebäck und Zitrusfrüchte. Die Unterkunft selbst bietet alles was man braucht. Besonders gefallen hat uns der Ofen und die Strandnähe. In der Nebensaison ist der Ort sehr, sehr ruhig, es gibt nur eine Hand voll Tavernen in der ganzen Gegend und ein paar Supermärkte, die geöffnet sind. Das hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört.

Amazing view from the sauna and jacuzzi. Super cozy place and was super clean as well. The host was super helpful and was really flexible when we had to make adjustments to our plans during our stay. Highly recommend staying here!

Holiday home from home. everything good. Vassilis very helpful with lots of good extras in room. Studio clean, bright airy, good WiFi with large kitchen area, Expresso coffee machine. Bathroom a tad small, but works. Sleep quiet with shutters closed, Beach 5 minutes walk. Bus stop to Heraklion and airport 3 minutes. Private parking space. We were two couples sharing this apartment and it was well equipped and spacious, as per the photos. The beds were comfortable with good quality linen and it was nice to have shower and beach towels. The large balcony was a great space with a good view but two of our party have slight hearing issues and the traffic noise made conversation difficult at times. However the location of the apartment is great with such an interesting beach and sea view. We swam frequently and it was easy to pop down at all times of the day and evening. The walk to the old town was pleasant and easy and it was well worth a walk to the castle. We had a problem with the fob not working to access the parking area but Constantine responded quickly and resolved it. Despite the parking space being on the small side we had no issues with a medium sized car that fitted 4 adults and luggage comfortably. Constantine met us to show us the parking and apartment despite being quite busy which we appreciated.

The villa is a most beautiful place for a relaxed family vacation. Quiet, spacious and with all the amenities for a relaxed stay. The next town is nearby, only a few minutes away by car. The local support is excellent, very friendly, very responsive and alert. All in all, a very recommendable place.

The pictures don’t do this view justice. It’s breathtaking! The home is gorgeous and the outdoor space is wonderful. It was too cold for us to swim but we still enjoyed time at the beach. Most of the immediate area was already shut down for the season during our stay but there is a lovely area about a mile walk away. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the coffee shops and restaurants. The house and rooms were fantastic and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax. The host was amazing and went above and beyond to help us when we left some glasses at a restaurant. Thank you so much for a great stay!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is very lovingly furnished, clean and has a fantastic location right on the beach. The surrounding area is perfect for sightseeing (close to Chania, Aptera) and hiking. The hosts were very easy to reach and very friendly - there were even some Greek delicacies to welcome us. We would love to come back and can highly recommend this place! Thank you very much!

We really enjoyed our stay. We were 4 adults, 1 toddler and 1 dog. We are very satisfied with the villa and would love to come back next year. The villa has a private pool and a private entrance to the beach. However, water at the beach was dirty most of the time and wasn’t really comfortable to swim there with a baby, also because of the rock bottom, so we were driving to different public beaches. You must have a car, because due to the weather conditions it wasn’t possible to us to walk anywhere near.

We had a great stay at the villa for a week during a shoulder period. The proximity of the villa to a fabulous cafe and restaurant was great, with only a short 100m walk to both. The villa is super comfortable and decorated tastefully. Nikos arranged a hire car to be dropped off and picked up from us at the villa which was so convenient. We had a late check in and arranged to find some sandwiches from the cafe in the fridge, a bowl of drukte, bottle of wine and biscuits - a very welcome surprise. This is a great option to come and stay even during the low season.

Wir haben die Zeit in der Sea View White Villa sehr genossen. Die Lage ist ein Traum. 15 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt, direkt am Strand. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt es mehrere gute Restaurants. Die Unterkunft lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Pool kann auf Wunsch etwas geheizt werden, sodass man auch schon früh in der Saison vollen Badespaß hat. Der Whirlpool lädt zum entspannen ein. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit zwei Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern ideal für 3-4 Personen. Stravros war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gab kleine Leckereien zur Begrüßung und wir fühlten uns sofort willkommen. Rundum ein toller Urlaub, Danke nochmals!

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The house was even better than the pictures—spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated. Our host went above and beyond to make our trip special. They were incredibly attentive, offering fantastic local recommendations and even arranging a taxi service for us, which made everything so easy. To top it all off, they surprised us with homemade traditional Easter cookies, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch. We felt so welcomed and cared for the entire time. Highly, highly recommend staying here—you won’t be disappointed!

What a great spacious apartment and even better location,.. and with a panoramic sea view from the spacious balcony/terrace. What more do you need? And chose Kalamaki over Matala (just visit) if you want to relax.

Kostas und Dimitra bereiteten uns einen sehr herzlichen Empfang. Die Traumvilla liegt in ruhiger Lage etwas außerhalb der Gemeinde Frankokastello. Unsere Wohnung im ersten Stock der Villa war sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Herrlich ist der Blick vom Balkon Richtung Süden auf das Meer und vom Schlafzimmer aus nach Norden auf die Weißen Berge. Im Ort selbst gibt es Supermärkte für den täglichen Bedarf. Bei Marias Bäckerei/Konditorei kann man frühstücken oder Brot und Gebäck für ein selbst zubereitetes Frühstück kaufen. Kostas und Dimitra sind äußerst liebevolle, hilfsbereite und herzliche Gastgeber bei denen man sich rasch als Familienmitglieder aufgenommen fühlt. Dimitra verwöhnte uns mit leckerem, selbstgebackenem Kuchen. Die süße Haustigerin MIra besuchte uns täglich und holte sich Leckerli und Streicheleinheiten ab. Besonders toll und angenehm ist der Pool um den sich Kostas täglich kümmert.Wir verbrachten dort eine wunderschöne Zeit. Nochmals vielen Dank.

Magnifique villa au bord de la mer. La maison est très bien équipée, nous n’avons manqué de rien. Les trois chambres sont très confortables et la literie excellente. La vue depuis la maison est exceptionnelle, il y a un accès direct à une très belle plage, sauvage, nous avons adoré ! J’ai hâte d’y revenir ! Georges a été très accueillant et toujours à l’écoute. il nous a donné de très bonnes adresses pour manger et nous avons beaucoup apprécié les attentions à notre arrivée. Il y avait du vin, de l’huile d’olive, des sodas… Merci infiniment, nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances 😊

We had a fantastic stay at Seaside Villa Lavrys. The villa itself is spacious, well-maintained, and located in a peaceful area with a lovely view. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway, but do keep in mind that you’ll need a car to get around as the location is a bit remote. Taxi transportation from Chania costs around €30. What truly made our experience special was our host, Alex. From the moment we booked, Alex was incredibly responsive and attentive, always available to answer any questions we had. He went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay, offering great local tips and assistance whenever needed. His kindness and willingness to help made a huge difference in our trip. Alex’s family was also very warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly stay in Crete, and Alex’s hospitality made it even better.

Nous avons été totalement ravis du logement et de ses équipements. Chose que je n'avais pas réalisé et qui est un poil dérangeant sont les fêtes à la piscine d'à côté deux fois par semaine. A part cela, tout est parfait. Les hôtes sont charmants et les deux propriétaires sont au petit soin. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation.

Merci à Aline pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité. La cabane nous a beaucoup plu et son environnement est paisible. Nous avons aimé le calme absolu. Peut être parce que le restaurant à côté n était pas encore ouvert. Le lit est un peu dur mais on s y fait. Les enfants ont apprécié dormir en haut, comme une cabane dans une cabane. Un gros plus est la communication avec Aline. Rien à redire!!! Merci

What a wonderful place! If you are stressed by work, in need of something peaceful, extremely beautiful and in harmony with the nature, this is the right place for you. Don't miss the opportunity to stay here, meeting the cute cats ( please feed them :), enjoy the surrondings and if you like to swim, the beach just 10 minutes walking distance is perfect for you. I swam 5 kilometers and enjoyed after that the beautiful bar and restaurant close to the house. RECOMMENDED!
