Great house, large, homey, comfortable, kitchen well stocked. Would have been nice if the pool was ready for swimming.

We had an amazing time. Lots of stuff to do in the area and our cabin was immaculate. Hosts were very friendly and responsive.

This place exceeded our expectations. It was clean. The property was perfectly situated and sized. The amenities were amazing. It allowed our family to have an actual vacation. We relaxed and had fun. Most everything was provided, from fishing equipment to firewood. We enjoyed the pool, the piers, the bikes... In short, we will be returning.

Definitely a great option for a weekend getaway. A drive to get to the beach or downtown Savannah, but worth it for the secluded and homey feel of the place. Backyard is main appeal- truly a hidden oasis.

Dockside Dreamhouse was an incredible place. The marsh is gorgeous, the house is private and quiet. The firepit is lovely. We had a wonderful stay. All photos are accurate as is the beautifully decorated home. So many special touches. The kitchen was fully stocked. All of the linens were fresh. Bedrooms were spacious and clean. The vibes were definitely beachy and relaxing. We did daily adventures to Brunswick, Savannah & Jekyll Island. Driftwood Beach is a must see on your list! Megan was so responsive and answered any question we had very quickly. The only downside about the marsh were the noseeums. There was not an amount of bug spray or citronella candles/oils that could keep them away. If the wind is blowing, or the sun is down they seem to go away. When we make it back, we would definitely bring outdoor fans, they seem to keep the bugs away. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises, sunsets and nightly fires. We loved catching blue crabs on the dock. Very special home:)

Great Stay. Beautiful Marsh View. House was perfect. Well stocked kitchen. Beds were amazing. The great room with fireplace was a perfect place to visit with family late into the evening. If i return to Darien I will be staying at Emma’s Farm.

We really enjoyed staying here! Beautiful home that we all loved. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The kids really enjoyed the hot tub and game room. The only thing we were bummed about was that the pool was not heated (We assumed it was since it was available all year long) but after looking at the listing again it did not indicate that it was heated. Alvin was a great host and was very friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Very peaceful place. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook a meal. Judith has an excellent attention to detail in order to make sure it feels like home. Excellent location between St. Simons and Savannah. Nice and open home.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and plenty of space. The back porch was beautiful and big! Our only small issue was the home was difficult to cool but we were never "hot" so I didn't bother the host about it. The host allowed us a late check out and we are so grateful because it stormed heavily the last day while waiting for the ferry. Everyone is very nice and our stay was lovely.

This was a beautiful home and area. The only complains I have was the grass needed to be cut, there was no outside trash can, and inside there was no cleaning supplies or broom/mop.

Our stay was awesome,! Everything looks just like the pictures, and the house is very clean and they furnished towels, and amenities. We definitely recommend staying at Darien Bungalow. We would definitely stay there again. We visited for spring break and our daughter's graduation from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. 5 days 4 nights!

This place is absolutely beautiful. I can’t say enough good things about it. We got married here and it was perfect. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need. Only cons are the beds aren’t terrible but they aren’t the most comfortable either. For the price I wish it had slept more people but truly the pictures don’t do it justice. It truly is the most beautiful home and property I’ve ever been. John the property manager was great as well! Thanks!

Amazing!!! I know that’s cliche, but it was just the perfect place to stay in a deeply historical location. It was peaceful and quiet with all the little extras to make our stay delightful.

Darien has always felt like a home away from home! This is the first time we’ve stayed at John’s place, but we fell in love with his little home. We hope to be back in the future!

The cottage was perfect. Clean and tastefully decorated. Everything matched the description of the cottage. Very quiet neighborhood. Thoughtful touches such as coffee for the regular coffee maker, Keurig pods for the Keurig maker, snacks, bottled water and filtered water pitcher waiting in the frig. Nicely stocked kitchen if you wanted to cook a meal. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Even supplied beach towels if you drove over to the beach. Patsy is a wonderful host. Friendly and responsive. Met her when we checked in with our code. Leaves her contact number should you need anything. We loved our stay and will be back.

Adorable space with very at home feeling. Ate at the local restaurant that is within walking distance. Everyone seems like family and very friendly.

Beautiful and peaceful location, and a really lovely house! We were two adults and two kids and it was a great size for us - the porches (and the wonderful view from them) were the highlight. Wish we had stayed longer!
