Now, i dont write many reviews. And when i pay for a place to stay in my hometown it always irks me. But Danny's place was different. In a neighbourhood i know well, 15 mins walk from town and 5 minutes from my brothers house, it was perfect. The house was huge, so much bigger than expected, nice and clean but extremely cosy, comfortable sofas and beds, a lovely massive stone floor kitchen, a nice garden, and loads of board games and toys for the kids to play with. I understand that Danny probably gets loads of hikers etc through the place and the maps etc are great for thouse looking for that sort of thing, but for a family just wanting a place to chill while visiting family, my home. It was perfect. Thanks mate

I had a really nice stay at this property. Very spacious and clean, location was excellent for access to the City Centre and Morriston hospital. Would happily stay here again or recommend to anyone visiting Swansea!

Nice host, nice place. What a good 3bed house My boy love his room very much Especially the tv is connected with Netflix Also the prompt response on fixing the toilet light is appreciated. And the host is so nice that suggesting some indoor activities to us due to the rain

Big house with lots of practical space and a comfortable homely feel. Comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen, plus lovely warm hot tub and super games room for when the weather is too wet for walking! Beautiful area with walking from the house and plenty more to do if you want to!

Great base location right at the heart of the Brecons. While no on site parking, the main village car park is a short walk away. Cottage is very cosy and suits all seasons. Beautifully presented with lots of great touches and very pet friendly. Lovely welcome gifts as well.

Everything you could need in a great location

The stay was great, there were plenty of extras that werent expected like milk in the fridge and cereals to help ourselves to. Clean, tidy, well maintained. Great offroad parking too. Would recommend.

We spent a lovely week in Gareth’s property while we were working in the area. It had all the features we needed, and even with a few WiFi hiccups it was all resolved in the end. Gareth was easy to contact with prompt responses. He went out of his way to enable our stay to be the best it could

We spent the easter weekend in Hereford and had an amazing time. The place was nicely hidden away and provided a nice and quiet experience. We were unlucky with the weather, but the main hut had plenty of room for the 5 of us to enjoy the fireplace in the evening. When the weather cleared, we got to take advantage of the outdoor seating and the fire pit. The accommodation was located next to a small grass airstrip, owned by a local flight club. Due to its inactivity, the airstrip provided no issues concerning noise, however, it did provide an amazing sight when we got to see some planes take off on the morning of our last day. Sally and her family were very responsive and made us feel very taken care of.

Woodpecker Cottage is a wonderful place to stay, comfortable, well-equipped, and full of charm. Gyles is a fantastic host; welcoming, thoughtful, and always happy to go the extra mile to ensure you feel at home. The log burner was a real treat and made our stay even more special. Thank you, Gyles!

We absolutely loved our stay at Abbey Dore. The house was spacious, brilliant kitchen and dining room area with two lovely living rooms. It had everything we needed, and we absolutely loved the swimming pool and gym. Bedrooms were lovely and beds were comfy. Emma and Daniel were so responsive to any questions we had. Beautiful surroundings, Gwatkin Red Cow was a brilliant recommendation- the roast was fab! We loved our stay and would absolutely consider coming back again.

Loved the Caravan clear instructions as to how to access and gain entry which was useful as we did not realise just how big the site was! It was very clean warm and comfortable also very well equipped. I have to say I did not read the instructions carefully enough and brought no bedding with us. This was resolved via the Reception on the site and for a small deposit we were provided with bedding which was delivered! Deposit returned on return of the bedding so no crisis. Lots of lovely walking from the caravan perfect for the dog. We were visiting friends in the area and would definitely consider coming again.

We had a fantastic stay in the Brecon Beacons for the Easter holiday. Clare was a very welcoming host who provided easy to follow directions and a very hospitable welcome including fine cake and prosecco. The accommodation was exactly what we wanted with all the amenities described including gym and hot tub. The home is very well located for walking, it is even possible to walk to Pen y Fan directly from the house! A special thanks to her son-in-law T who was very helpful and enjoyable company!

Fab time away for my partners birthday. Host was very helpful giving recommendations and changed dates for us no problem. Beautiful hut with everything you need for a quiet night away. Hot tub was ready for us to jump in, loved the Prosecco and lager thank you! Would recommend to anyone! We will be back!

Sidney's Caravan is absolutely beautiful !, in a lovely quiet area of the park. The beach is less than a 5 min walk away , and we enjoyed the sea view from the living area , and watching the sunsets. The Caravan was absolutely spotless when we arrived . Sidney is a fantastic host , very responsive and thoughtful. I would highly recommend a stay here, and can't wait to visit again with my family. Thank you Sidney for such a fantastic stay.

A fabulous short Easter break at Heidi’s home. We had great directions and instructions at the house. The area is great and a short drive from pubs, the beach, shops and some lovely walks. We had great weather so managed to sit outside on the patio area which is a great suntrap. Plenty of seating. Kitchen very well equipped, stair gates, high chairs and travel cots all available and were set out for us. Heidi was extremely responsive on messages. Overall, a fabulous stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Christopher’s lovely home!! The house is very spacious and well kept, and we instantly felt comfortable. Christopher was very responsive and helpful, and kindly put up a baby gate for our infant daughter! He and his family also left out some wooden toys our daughter could play with and lent us their high chair. The house has a great yard and is in fabulous area, very family oriented and we loved having Clyne Gardens so close! We would strongly recommend!!

I stayed with Mike and Bert for two weeks while a house sale went through, I brought with me my high maintenance Bengal cat Kevin Bacon. During our stay Mike has gone out of his way to accommodate us, the accommodation is completely separate and lockable, I felt completely safe, I knew Kevin was secure and didn’t see any red flags. Mike is laid back and approachable, the perfect host. The bed is extremely comfortable and everything I have needed has been included with no extra costs or limitations. Bert is a very good boy and has been trained properly, he doesn’t go upstairs but he will bring you a shoe each time he sees you as a greeting, Bert was completely safe around Kevin when I took Kevin in the garden. There is easy parking at the accommodation and lots to do in the area, lots of walks, castles, stepping stones over rivers, sand dunes, beaches, horse riding and a decent selection of Pubs. If I ever end up homeless again I will be coming back! Thank you.

We stayed for 2 nights at Sharon’s place and were very happy with everything about the house and area. I had not realised how rural the village was and loved the views from the back door watching the sun rise over the hill. The house was spotless and well appointed. The welcome pack was a nice touch although we had brought food with us. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. We had an Indian takeaway from Merthyr Tydfil the first night which we collected. Only 18 minutes drive away, then cooked the second night. Plenty of utensils in the kitchen. We loved the drive over the moors with the fabulous views and had a wonderful hike in the Brecon Beacons. We also visited Brecon and enjoyed having a look around d the shops. Sharon was very responsive and able to give recommendations. We would recommend to anyone planning to explore the area.

Just back from our 3rd or is it 4th visit. Excellent as always. Property is exactly as pictured. Very cosy, welcoming and in pristine condition. The location is perfect, 2 minute walk to Aldi. less than 5 minutes to the main high street. Be aware that if you have mobility issues, the stairs do feel very steep. There are hand rails though, so I find them ok, if not a little unnerving. It doesn't put me off repeatedly staying here, but worth a mention in case it is an important factor for guests. Highly recommend this property, and Victoria is a very helpful, responsive and friendly host. We will be back..... again 😊

The most wonderful hosts. So easy to communicate and so helpful. We went for a hiking holiday with our dogs and it was perfect. Cosy country get away perfection. Not much around in terms of town and pubs so we relaxed in our home for the weekend and loved it. Thank you!!

Lovely host and lovely accommodation. Easy to contact Julie when we needed some help adjusting the heating and she responded with support very quickly to help us get it sorted. Check in was easy and accommodation was lovely, as described and basic amenities were available for our stay. Accommodation was extremely close to a local shop and a lovely walk to the seafront. This was our first time using air bnb and it made a great first impression we were very happy. Thank you Julie and family for facilitating a lovely stay for us!

We couldn't have been happier with our stay. The location is idyllic with stunning views, almost continuous birdsong and beautiful walks in every direction. The accommodation is very good with comfortable modern furniture, everything you need, a powerful shower, good WiFi and a TV with all the apps so you can sign in and watch if you want to. Plus there are good electric heaters if you need them. Communication was always good and everything was very easy. We very much looking forward to returning.
