Absolutely amazing house! Perfect for families and friends to stay together! Unfortunately the lake is currently unable to be used due to Toxic levels of Algae . But that didn't stop us from using the lakeside Spa, and enjoying the stunning view!

Liz was an outstanding host, ensuring our check-in was seamless and stress-free. The accommodation was absolutely perfect—thoughtfully designed with every little detail considered, making it feel like a true home away from home for our team. The private and peaceful setting was exactly what we needed. Liz’s communication was exceptional—she was always quick to respond and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Liz! this home was the most incredible place. wish I could give it more than 5 stars. The host has thought of everything. lots of lovely little touches. we used this house as a place for the groomsmen to get ready at prior to our wedding, photos are great because of the beautiful furniture and amenities. would 10/10 recommend

We loved stay at Kate's, it was perfect for our group of 4 friends. It was such a warm house, the deck was perfect for sitting outside in the sun, then when it was time to go inside, the fire was set. So close to town and we loved the personalised welcome note, so thoughtful. Having the keypad to lock and unlock the house was brilliant. The beds were so comfy and the linen crisp and clean. We will definelty stay again when we come to Methven.

A beautiful place, we loved our stay there. Ali was lovely and we had the most amazing supplies in the fridge (and one of Ali’s home baked cakes!) on our arrival. We felt at home straight away. Would definitely like to stay there next time I’m over visiting my son. Loved it. Thank you Ali.

Stayed here on an NZ vacation with my extended family. Very clean and spacious. Lisa was a great host and very responsive. the neighborhood is very nice and safe with water access directly off the property. We really loved the living area with the gas fireplace. Only 45-1hr to Christchurch. Lisa's neighbor across the street was very helpful and friendly! 10/10 spot to stay.

Thank you! We loved our time in Methven. The house is warm and welcoming with plenty of space for our family of four. The charm and character of the home is delightful, the spa is fantastic and the location is within walking distance to everything you need. Maree’s attention to detail added a touch of luxury, which made our stay feel even more special.

Staying at Hayley’s is the best thing you can do! Such a lovely renovation of an amazing space. Comfy beds, great shower and spa bath welcome after a long ride on motor bikes. Hayley makes you welcome and has great recommendations , eat at @ustin92 (Austin92) great food and service. Great breakfast included

We had a great night's stay. very clean & comfortable studio unit. The property is rural but easy to find on GPS and not far from SH1. Gerard & Trish have created a wonderful garden, including native bush, which Gerard showed us around. Nice continental breakfast was also provided, with some of their own produce. Even a couple of Easter eggs as we were there Easter Sunday. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Richard's AirBnB. Pictures and description of the AirBnB is accurate and exact and the space is just nice enough for 3 of us. We immediately felt right at home once we arrived. Richard was responsive and proactive in informing of the check-in details and responding to our enquiries and requests. Richard also left useful notes on the pin board in the house informing us of the town's nearby restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, etc. Furnitures and amenities are also very well-maintained and sufficient for our stay. Richard's AirBnB is walkable to the commercial area of the town with multiple restaurants, cafes and pharmacy nearby and New World supermarket only being around 7mins walk away. We truly enjoyed our stay and if we were to visit the area again, we would definitely choose to stay at Richard's AirBnB. Would highly recommend everyone to stay!
