Spacious Home Minutes from Penn Nat. Golf Course

We are located minutes from Penn National Golf Course, Caledonia Golf Course and State Park, the Appalachian Trail, shopping and restaurants. Gettysburg, PA is a 30 min. drive away and DC is less than 2 hours from us. There are several ski resorts close by as well. We live out of town and settle in this home when we are in the area for a few weeks each year. We have attempted to make this space a home for ourselves that you will enjoy as well. Our daughter will be your host for your stay.

The Antietam Toll House (@antietamtollhouse) is a renovated historic property circa 1800. Sitting on the bank-head of the Antietam stream, this cabin has it's own private fishing hole. Secluded, yet close to amenities and attractions, this property is the perfect place for an artist retreat, respite from the city or a base from which to explore local gems of the area. Wineries, Appalachian Trail, Antietam, Gettysburg battlefields, Ski Liberty, Catoctin , Cunningham Falls and more nearby.

Cozy West Virginia Treehouse

Thanks for checking out our treehouse! It’s 4 minutes from downtown Shepherdstown and 15 minutes from downtown Harpers Ferry. We are excited to share it with other fun-loving folks! The treehouse has heat and AC, a tiny kitchen with a mini fridge, stove top, toaster oven, gravity-fed sink and kitchenware. There’s a bathhouse built on the back of the host’s home with a conventional toilet and shower. There’s also an outhouse with a light and essentials. We provide wood for the fire pit also.

Relax and unwind with an overnight stay at a historic 1863 barn at Mt Hope Farm in Fairfield just a a mile from Strawberry Hill Nature Preserve, adjacent to Michaux State Forest and a short drive to Gettysburg. Easy access to horseback riding, hiking, mountain/road biking and minutes from skiing, golfing, and local wineries. Farm fresh eggs included with every stay! Our cabin is located on a private stoned road. Very quiet and remote location. Keep this in mind when booking. 25 minute drive to downtown Gettysburg, 40 minutes to Carlisle Fairgrounds. Near Michaux State Forest, Pine Grove Furnace State Park and Caledonia State Park; many hiking, ATV and snow mobile trails. For those that enjoy skiing we are 30 minutes to Liberty Mountain in Fairfield and 50 minutes to Roundtop Mountain in Lewisberry.

Colonial Era Spring House

A unique and private mountain top colonial era spring house, with two springs flowing thru the basement. Originally the site of a tannery in the 1700s. Here you can relax, recharge, and rejuvenate. We celebrate all four seasons where you can enjoy Mother Nature's ever changing scenery at 1300' above sea level with fresh mountain air. Our area offers many things to do, or you may choose to stay in and do nothing at all.
