Historical 1930's cabin. Once the home of the resident cheese maker. Restored to suit the style of the time. Situated on a cattle property in the picturesque McPherson Ranges. Has a fishing dam closeby. Sits below Mt. Edinburgh Castle. The property is part of the ancient Gondwana rain forest. From Woodenbong, take Glennie Street, becomes Boomi Creek Road, keep on the sealed road at the Brumby Creek turn. Travel a further approx 6km. Our place is not suited to young children. COB CABIN: step back in time with this beautiful rustic build; with lime rendered earthen/mud cob walls, recycled timbers, antique Indian doors, stone bath. A profoundly peaceful healing place amongst nature. Exclusive (ie no other guests) secluded getaway; luxury King size bed (or 2 singles). Romantic out door bath, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor BBQ, fire pit. Nestled deep in the caldera at the base of Boarder Ranges with stunning panoramic views of MT Warning. Set on 12 acre property

A Simpler Place in Time

Restored 90 year old farm building separate from house overlooking the McPherson Ranges and Mount Barney on a 17 acre farm block with animals. Great place to stay if you are walking Mt Barney, Mt May or Mt Maroon - 40 mins drive north. The cottage can accommodate 3 people using a queen bed and a trundle bed (extra $15/night). The cottage runs on solar power (off the grid); gas cooktop; gas hot water; septic toilet; tank water and wood heater. Dean's shed is overflowing with stories and harness.

Hinterland Barn, national park, cafés, restaurants

This uniquely built barn situated in the Gold Coast hinterland is within walking distance to national parks. Made from recycled wharf timber, the barn is set on an 18 acre farm beset by green lawns. A king bed with ensuite, separate shower & bath make up the loft bedroom. Downstairs features a second bathroom / laundry, fire place, lounge, study & self inflating bed (inflatable bed linen not included), dining & fully equipped kitchen before walking onto a large deck overlooking the rainforest.

This fully self-contained cottage looks directly onto Mt. Greville and is only a 10 minute drive from Spicers and Cunningham's Gap hiking trails, and a short 15 minute drive to Lake Moogerah. Guests can choose to have a quiet, peaceful getaway on farm land or explore the local wineries, pubs, cafes, and shopping that the region has to offer.

There is only a short drive to the brewery, artisan cheese factory, Gallery Walk, wedding venues, and many other local restaurants. The barn is stunning rustic mountain accommodation.
