Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place in the north woods. Cabin has 2 twin size beds in the loft and a full size bed on main floor. Includes Kitchen table and chairs and a kitchenette with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster and a crockpot. There is a bathhouse on site with hot showers and bathrooms. Close to ATV/Snowmobile Trails and you can ride from your site. You will need to provide your own bedding, pillows, towels, cooking utensils and shower items

West Higgins Waterside Retreat offers 75-feet of private Higgins Lake frontage. You can wake up to breathtaking sunrises while sipping on your morning coffee on the deck. The 100-foot private seasonal dock allows you to moor your boat during your entire stay. The calm and shallow water surrounding the dock provides a great swimming environment for kids. 2026!! Couples retreat or solo! Even a third person/couch makes into a twin bed..Directly on the Manistee river.....this cabin is semi primitive but has a lot of amenities. Excellent spot for a quiet overnight or weekend !! It’s easy access into the river and is shallow. Great for navigating up and down stream for fishing. You’ll love this spot because of the location and the ambiance. This place is good for couples, solo adventurers, fisherman, kayaks, tubes, canoeing

Please note that our family-owned canoe rental operates on the property during daytime hours, adding a fun and lively riverfront atmosphere. As our family business grows, an additional guest lodge may be added nearby in the future, allowing us to welcome more visitors while maintaining the property’s relaxing Up North feel.
