The Old Dairy Wakes Colne is a single story newly renovated barn situated on a rural working farm within the Essex countryside. Offering unspoilt views and an enclosed garden it is the perfect place to enjoy the peaceful environment within this wifi free accommodation. Yet just over a mile away is the village of Chappel which offers a recently renovated pub, convenience store, post office , Millennium Green and a children’s play area. The property has private parking for up to 4 cars.

Old Maltings Annex

The annex is a lovely relaxing place to stay. Accessed by the main front door one then enters one's own private space. Recently converted it offers a fantastic double room. It is very light and airy. Fully heated so nice and cosy. There is a television with sky and wifi, table and chairs and basin. Downstairs there is a bathroom, with heated towel rail and luxury bath with hand held shower. twin room downstairs next to the bathroom. NO ACTUAL KITCHEN!! fridge, toaster, kettle

The Nook

Escape to this cosy, self-contained apartment just a stone’s throw from the charming market town of Sudbury. The Nook is perfectly located for exploring the beautiful nearby villages of Lavenham, Monks Eleigh, and Clare, as well as major towns like Bury St Edmunds and Colchester. The Nook has its own private entrance, overlooking the natural wetland. The Nook is a five-minute walk from the picturesque waterside path along the River Stour, ideal for miles of serene countryside walks.

The cottage is a quiet, characterful newly-refurbished one-bedroom cottage on the edge of a wood near Assington, close to Sudbury & Dedham Vale. Assington has a village shop, café and vibrant pub, with many rural walks on the doorstep. The cottage has a snug with woodburning stove, a bathroom with walk-in shower, outdoor space and a barbecue, as well as two TVs and high-speed wifi. It is next door to Darcy’s cottage, with which it shares a communicating door if needed for family use.

The Dell - Country Holiday Let

The Dell sleeps up four guests and is located in the small village of White Colne, only 15 minutes away from the oldest recorded town in the UK, Colchester. On the Essex-Suffolk border you have a great base to explore East Anglia’s towns and attractions. This is a private annex building set in the grounds of our family home. Stour Valley self-contained annexe set in 9 acres

The annexe is an open plan, 1st floor, ‘loft’ space, separate to the main house and set in 9 acres of meadows. A quiet place to relax and use as a base to explore East Anglia. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, you can walk the Stour Valley Path, cycle to nearby villages like Lavenham or Long Melford, or paddle board along the Stour River opposite. Gorgeous cottage set in Bures

Relax in our wonderful cottage and enjoy a glass in the garden that has been designed and created by Harry and David Rich (known as The Rich Brothers from Garden Rescue on the BBC). The cottage has parking for two cars and is located in the centre of Bures Village, a short stroll away from the train station, two public houses, local shop, church and park. Not far away you will find the famous Bures Dragon and Chapel of Stephen.
