Big 1 bed cottage has comfy King mattress + 2 sleeper futons. The Cabin (only open May 1-Oct 31) has kitchenette, bathroom & Queen bed. A backyard path to hammock & chill spot by Ripples (view only, but 1/2 mile away is Long Pond for swimming, canoe/kayak rental). Grill. Firepit. Tranquility! Osprey Cove is a unique vertically built home that has fantastic views of the top of Somes Sound. A dock, firepit & gazebo are available for use and are shared with the neighboring unit, which are always a guest favorite! A piece of paradise on Mount Desert Island, located on a beautiful swimming lake on 20 acres on the island's quietside. Near to the best lobster pound. Great fishing and canoeing on the lake. House is a renovated old farm house. Non-bed sleeping pets welcome. Great for families who appreciate Acadia. We share a beach with 1 family, so please be courteous!
