Much needed time away from home for New Years with my partner and two pugs. Very accommodating and friendly. Thanks Barb and Bill!

Lauren was welcoming, warm, and friendly - available to help us when we had unexpected issues (eg. when my hiking boots fell apart - loaning us tools to help glue the soles back together). Her place is quiet - we enjoyed watching 4-5 deer regularly grazing in the yard, and walking along the beachfront at low tide. Beds are super comfy :) Kitchen is well organized and the place was spotless.

Steve went above and beyond for our stay - truly a top notch host. Responsive and friendly, he made check in seamless and was on hand if we needed anything. The cabin was lovely - beds comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, bathroom sparkling. We absolutely loved the salt water hot tub (and we mean hot!) and the cozy wood fireplace when the rain came one night. Watching the porpoises, seals, otters and eagles was super relaxing, as was meandering around the harbour in our kayaks. Will definitely come back! Thanks Steve!

I was looking for quiet and solitude on my trip and I got just that. House was rustic and cozy and my host had the wood fireplace going when I arrived which made it feel warm and welcoming.

We had a wonderful stay at Julie's Airbnb. The location is absolutely great and you have a huge window to look at the ocean (if its raining) or you just take 2 steps outside and you are directly at the shore. Inside you have everything you need and it is very clean. Julie and Ian are wonderful people. We would definitely stay here again.

Truly a special place if you’re equipped to make the journey. We used it as base camp to explore the area, fish, and find wildlife on our 20 ft hewes craft. Camille was available and responsive when needed and generous with her local knowledge. The dogs kept us safe and gave us lots of love :)

Amazing place!! We had a great time at this beautiful cabin. Great location with easy walks to stores. Great view overlooking the Cove. The space is very well laid out and very clean. The kitchen has everything you might need and Melissa is a fantastic host. Can’t wait to get back!

We had a great couple of nights at Kate's place. The views are stunning, and it was lovely to watch the sun go down each evening while eating our dinner. It was nice to have your own designated parking spot and the place is less than 5mins drive from the Quadra Island Ferry Terminal, you can also walk there in 15mins (although there is a hill so those who may not be comfortable with that should be aware). My only suggestion for those visiting is to bring an eye mask and ear plugs if you are a light sleeper like my wife (no blackout curtains and the rooster wakes you up early).

BEST. TRIP. EVER! The Whale House is a gem! This little slice of heaven has gorgeous views from every room. The house is secluded and serene but is a quick drive to town and surrounding activities. The house has every amenity, and as a bonus, there is a crab pot and instructions on how to crab! It was enjoyable. The northern end of Vancouver Island has many things to do- fishing, whale watching, Grizzly bear viewing, kayaking and so much more. You can also relax easily in this place. Sitting on the deck, reading my book while watching the resident bald eagles go about their day was one of my favorite memories of our time there. Nancy is the best hostess. She had many recommendations and was full of good ideas to cater to the needs of our group. We will go back to the Whale House again. We were already planning our next visit as we pulled out of the driveway. :)

Great stay in Tahsis with Nigel. Everything we needed for a successful fishing trip was available. Nigel met us at the dock to check us in and show us the great property. Nigel checked in occasionally to make sure we had everything we needed. Top notch, we’ll be back without a doubt.

Michelle and Stephen were gracious, and accommodating. The beauty of the place, and the amazing food really make a stay there delightful. We certainly intend to return, and will stay more than just one night.

We were made to feel very welcome throughout our stay in Port Alice. The apartment looks out on a quite spectacular view and the outside space is a nice addition. Inside was everything we needed and a surprising amount of room. Thoroughly recommend and hope to return. Thank you Johan!

I reserved Susan’s place twice - once before we began the NCT and once for the day we completed the NCT. Knowing we had this cozy and equipped place to come back to was extremely comforting! Little touches that are not required but are absolutely appreciated (we were lucky enough to arrive to a plate of warm date squares!) are a throw back to the old days of Airbnb! Would recommend!

Everything was so well prepared that we had no issues in the slightest with our stay. Xin was always reaching out with things to do and places to see, making sure we were comfortable with everything. Their place has a beautiful yard with views of the ocean and we even saw the occasional deer nearby. And everything else was so comfortable and clean. Lovely place.

Laurie and Ed’s place was outstanding! The cabin was pristine and felt brand new! Everything we needed was readily available in the cabin - a fully equipped kitchen was fun to cook in. And the view was fantastic - fun the watch the boats go by and the water churn as the tides changed.
