Bring your boat or rent one here then dock it at our dock for the duration of your stay. Back at the cabin, unwind in the hot tub overlooking the lake or relax next to the fire pit. We can't adequately describe how peaceful it is to sit at the picnic table & listen to the wind through the trees or the birds serenade as the sky turns pink & purple over the Smoky Mountains. We purposely tucked our adorable Tiny Home into the woods to achieve the peaceful retreat you're looking for. You'll feel like the "Little Red Riding Hood" skipping through the woods as you escape the "Big Bad Wolf" of technology and stress. Evenings around the Firepit w/the stars are simply magical!

Mateo 39D at Nantahala Weddings & Events - no pets

The Mateos (named after our architect’s little son) are 4 small and separate bungalows with eye-popping views of Lake Nantahala and the Smoky Mountains through an 8-foot sliding glass door. Each Mateo has a queen size bed, private bath, ac/heat, and a kitchenette with a Keurig coffeemaker, 4.4 cu. ft. refrigerator with freezer, air fryer, microwave, tableware, and glassware for two people. The Mateos are not handicap-accessible. Pets are never allowed – 39D is a pet-free space ($200 penalty).

The Hemlock on Nantahala -Stunning Views with Dock

The Hemlock Haven is a beautifully decorated log cabin on Lake Nantahala with stunning lake and mountain views. It features two bedrooms, two and a half baths, a loft, and a bonus room. Enjoy multiple private porches and decks on all levels, an open floor plan, large windows, and hardwood floors. Accommodations include a king bed, queen bed, three twins, and a queen in loft. Bedrooms have private screen porch. Access the private dock across the street. Stairs required for cabin and dock.

This home is in the mountains on a lake, dirt road access. Town of Andrews is closest town for groceries, 25 minutes by car.

Nantahala Lake is a beautiful and peaceful hidden gem in the heart of the Smokey Mountains. This cabin is cozy, quiet and quaint. Enjoy waking up in the morning and heading down to our dock to read and enjoy the majestic mountains and peaceful lake. Our deck is a perfect place to enjoy at sunset and to have a drink with family and friends. The porch swing is a great place to spend a rainy afternoon. It is a small rustic cabin of 1150 square feet but it can sleep up to 8.
